Great day out once you get there early .
Visited the park at the end of June . Was a bit nervous having read a lot of negative reviews but took the tips on board that others had shared and turned out a much better experience than expected. The key to success is to get there early . We arrived 30 mins before the rides opened at 9:30am or so . The €14 for the car park is unavoidable unless you are up at the crack of dawn to grab one of the 50 free spaces on Av. Pere Molas outside the park. Having prepaid our tickets ( you can scan btw with your phone at the turnstiles ) there was only a small queue and once in the park then we had the pick of the shady spots with plenty of loungers free . Recommend under the trees at the wave pool . No queuing for lockers at that time either . Once the rides opened our two boys raced around and did all the main rides & slides with hardly any queuing ( some twice ) and were all done by 11:30am . By that stage the park was filling up and longer queues were forming . We brought our own picnic and avoided the expensive park food . Do Bring your own & Don’t worry about Bag checks at entrance . Toilets were clean and lifeguards were pleasant and thankfully not blowing their whistles incessantly as other reviews had warned . The boys went back out after lunch to do some more rides and weren’t queuing more that 20-30mins max at that stage . We left at 4pm having had a great day out . I’d say the park was busy but not rammed with people as can happen maybe in July & August . Bring aqua / swim shoes as pavements very hot in sunny weather and will help with all the stair climbing too . All in all we a great day out and worth the early start which again is the no.1 piece of advice we’d give to anyone visiting in high season .

    Worth a visit
After reading some of the reviews I was apprehensive about going to this watermark but I need not have worried! Got a bus Plana which drops off in the car park approx 5 minutes walk from the park entrance. Park opened 10:30am. We arrived shortly after 10am. Already a fair amount waiting. They let us through the turnstiles around 10:20am buy didn't allow anyone into the actual park area until 10:30am. No problem getting a sunbed at that time. We were able to walk on the slides/lazy river for around an hour before the queues began to form. The queues do get long but it's to be expected.... its July after all! Plenty of food snd drinks places but also saw lots of people with picnics etc.

    Nice family water park
Great family day out. Lots of slides etc. for young kids, older kids and adults. Food a bit expensive just like Port Aventura theme park. Bring footwear for walking around the park to the next slide or pool. The ground gets extremely hot in summer. Their lockers system needs changed. They give you a slip of paper with the code for your locker. How can this be helpful when your paper would be destroyed in the water. I thankfully had a an easy code to remember so didn’t have to carry around the code. €30 refundable deposit is needed for a life jacket for kids.

    Great day out!
Highly recommend this place for a fun day out. We had an 8yr old with us and she was able and willing to go on pretty much all of the slides. It was a bit chaotic getting in, not a whole lot of staff to ask where to go etc but we figured it out. We had planned on going on Saturday but after reading a travel blog re queues etc we went on Friday. Queues were not bad, we weren’t waiting long. Food is basic and pricey compared to standard Salou prices but this is to be expected in theme parks. We got Burgers and hot dog meals. Meal deal was about €13 for burger fries and drink. Lockers are available but to be honest they need to have a better system as your code is on a piece of paper and it’s 6 digits so not easy to carry around or remember if you don’t have your phone with you. I got my phone sealed to take pictures but to be honest, if I were to go again, I wouldn’t bother as you can’t take the phone on most of the rides bar the lazy River so I ended up putting it in the locker after we’d taken a couple of pictures All in all we had a great day out, we booked directly from the website and it was €33 per adult and €29 for a child

    Fun day out
Some aspects of this water park were fantastic. You could leave a bag, towels, flip flops and feel they would be safe. Definitely put valuables in a locker though and it's well worth buying a waterproof cover for your phone(you could only bring the phone on certain rides and not on slides). Queues were too long for the bigger rides. Those who paid extra for priority skipped these queues. Felt the park was expensive enough and the priority system was unfair. I didn't enjoy the indoor slide and banged my head a few times and found that experience unpleasant. The El Rio Loco is great fun and definitely a favourite of all the family. The queue for food took approx 25 mins but the food was of good quality and reasonably priced. Overall we enjoyed our day in Caribe Aquatic park

Some good fun slides - but would have been miserable without Express Pass
This is a pretty compact water park. It's definitely no match for the water parks of Orlando, but is a good fun visit for a day. Definitely get there as early as possible (i.e. for main gate opening) and you'll grab a locker and get on rides quickly before the masses descend later on. I would say the Express Pass is pretty much mandatory if you don't want to be frazzled waiting in long queues. The rides themselves are good, with a selection of twisty/turny flumes, including one dark/enclosed one, plus some inflatable/raft ones. There's also a pretty steep one to test your nerves (and swim suit!). However the rides are all on the short side, and certainly nothing beyond what Wet'n'Wild was offering decades ago. The wave pool was disappointing, with some of the smallest waves I've seen, and the lazy river is by far the worst I've ever seen in a water park, it's tiny, there's nothing of interest on it (no theming) and it's so busy it's not relaxing in any way. And finally the food options are poor. Basically hot dog or, well, hot dog, with nowhere near enough capacity (so another 30 min wait for a basic hot dog and a drink). Having said all that we enjoyed our day splashing about, and with the Express Pass there was never more than a 10 minute wait. Without the Express Pass I suspect I'd be giving it at least one star less - would have been a pretty miserable experience...

    Family with 2 younger boys
This was an ok day for the family with 2 young boys (9 and 6). We only went on 2 of the "main" rides which was the Rapid Racers (quick moving queue) and the 4 person ride (slow queue). The queues for the other rides were long and slow moving, with the xpress pass riders getting priority. As such our (impatient) kids were happy spending time in the lazy river, wave pool and the other large pool areas. Having read other recent reviews we were fairly familiar with the understanding that glasses and phones etc would not be allowed in most of the pool area. As such we didn't get caught in the trap of buying a phone holder. There was plenty of whistles getting blown by the lifeguards who diligently enforced these rules. The rules were not really clearly signposted so there were a number of disgruntled customers. We used the small lockers for valuables and kept a larger bag near a sunbed for the day. For the locker code we simply ripped off the locker number and then kept the locker code in a discreet area in our bag we kept outside, so don't let this negative point put you off. From reading reviews about the food, we brought drinks and lunch with us and didn't buy any food there. It was about 15 euros for a hot dog meal so I'm glad we saved the money there! If you have the extra cash and want to go on all the rides then it would be best to get the express pass as you jump to the front of the queue and its unlimited turns. If we had older children we would have probably chose that option

    Family day out
We decided to book tickets on the day and go to the water park. We booked the tickets from the machine in our hotel lobby and off we went. We entered the park and once we had mastered the lockers we found some beds and off we went. We went with our 2 young children which one can not swim. We found the wave pool but was soon told to get out as with my daughter wearing arm bands she was not allowed in which didn't make sense to me as she was in my arms. We then found some water slides designed for smaller kids. We went up but once again not allowed to use it with her wearing g arm bands so took them off upwelling went again only to be told that I could not got on with her and she had to go alone. With her not being able to swim that was not happening so off we went to play somewhere else. Overall we had a great day as we spent nearly 7 hrs in therejust what you need in 30 degree heat. The food and drink was not really over priced either. Great day out worth the money

Buy Express Pass or don't bother going
The park looks lovely and for younger children I would imagine it would be great. As expected in all these kinds of parks the food is low quality and expensive, but I did see that some families brought their own food. There are a small amount of bigger rides and the queue times for them are ridiculous. Constant priority on some rides is given to Express Pass holders - depending on the ability of the lifeguard to manage the queue. On one ride we waited 1.5 hours, with occasions that not one non-express guest was admitted for 20 mins as Pass holders kept getting on first. Needless to say the people in the queue were getting increasingly frustrated and the lifeguard simply kept her back to us to stop any interaction. Overall, not the worst experience at a water park but certainly not a park I'd recommend unless you pay the extra €30 pp for the Express Pass which then makes it a rather expensive outing for a family.

Fun day out with the family
Spent the day here at the end of July with our three children. We all had a great time. Plenty to do for all ages. We had to queue for the waterslides but this is to be expected in a water park during peak season. There are a couple of pools you can use for when you fancy a break from the queuing. The park was very clean and the food was good.

We thoroughly enjoyed the park. We travelled just last week during the covid crisis so the queues for the attractions were not at all busy. There is a great choice of slides and facilities at the park to suit all ages. My son is 12 and he just couldnt get enough. We ate at one of the indoor restaurants and it cost an average of 10 euro pp but you can bring your own snacks with you.

Not a good day out at all. We caught the bus from Cap Salou and were told it drops you right outside the park. It drops you by the train station and its a good 1 mile walk up the hill to the entrance, which isn't good when one of your party is disabled and has mobility issues. Once in the fun, games and fleecing begins! You want you phone in a waterproof case? 50€. You want a small locker to put your bag in? 10€, and make sure you keep the receipt as you need that and the key to claim you 4€ deposit back. The lockers are all located near the entrance and all the areas for sun loungers are spread throughout the park. If you aren't there when the park opens then forget about a sun lounger. We arrived just after 12noon and the park was packed. You had to queue for everything, entrance, lockers, drinks, food, rides and they weren't short queues either. After hunting for half and hour for somewhere for our disabled person to sit we found nothing. The staff weren't really bothered to help and after seeing the length of the queues as well we decided that we would leave. I claimed my money back for my locker and asked several members of staff if there was a customer services desk/office where we could make a complaint but no one seemed to understand. All in all for an impulse purchase of 93€ for 3 adults it was not worth it and was a day ruined. The only provision for disabled people we saw was mobility scooters but yes, you had to rent them as well! The park is totally over prescribed and is not worth the fee they charge.

We arrived at 10am and got a sun bed under the gazebo for 5 people. This was partly shaded so perfect during the hottest part of the day.

The teens did 4 big slides at 10:30am -12pm after this time the queues rocketed to about 1-3 hours! We only managed 1 other slide which we queued for 2.5 hours for.

If you do not have a fast track ticket do not bother with the slides in the afternoon!

The wave pool and lazy river were accessible at all times, although there was an hour queue for a ring for the lazy river. We just floated/swam around.

Food and drink was ok but expensive as you would expect in a theme park.

We enjoyed the day but it was far too busy and the queues meant that if you did not have fast track you could not access them without an unreasonable queue.

My partner and i visited here today, we are a young couple and love a waterpark. We went with an open mind, regarding the negative reviews we had read prior.
Arriving here, no issue, we had no queues to get in as we arrived at 1 o’clock, early in morning i’m assuming there would be queues. Park is overcrowded, i can agree on this one as queues were relatively big for slides, longest we queued was about 20 minutes, which isn’t bad but in this heat, not good.
Slides are a variety, some bigger, some smaller, i wouldn’t necessarily say they were the best slides i’ve been on as they’re your typical waterpark slides. I was impressed with the kids section though as they had lots going on. Lazy river was ok, nothing special.

Food and drinks, don’t waste your time, prices were dear for very little food, small cardboard box of chips €3.60, bottle water and small slushy €6.30! So quite pricey.

I found 2 lifeguards rude, one had her eyes closed behind her sunglasses, whilst she was meant to be watching the big pool. The other i overheard a mother and daughter explaining how they lost their sliders they left by the entrance to the lazy river, she just shrugged her shoulders! Also finally i found the older woman working at the snack bar (i think it’s called) miserable and cold.

Overall i wouldn’t return, i wouldn’t really recommend either. Quite disappointed.

Park is very badly managed. The whole queue management is appalling from getting in, lockers, food, and all the rides, you basically spend ALL day standing in lines, it's just not the fun experience you've signed up and paid for. Kids + queues does not equal fun happy families.
lockers 30+ mins, long queues for every single ride +1hr.. Even double queuing for some ridea to firstly get the tube and then queue for the actual ride.
Forget about eating as the queues for the 'crap' food were painful. One queue did not move for ages - for 25mins we were in the same spot. Eventually got food after an hour.
The longest queue was the purple family ring slide nearly 2 hours!!! 1hr 40 mins. I still can't understand how management let this happen, people queuing in the extreme heat and sunshine with no idea of queue times. Fast pass looked as bad (and it's double the price - we didn't pay for it but at times wished we had to avoid some of the queueing) The whole place is just badly managed and I think we got on 4 slides all day, my husband left early as he just couldn't handle it any longer and his patience ran out.

This is a fantastic waterpark... It is such a shame that they don't limit attendance and then exploit customers with 'skip the queue' wristbands (essential if you don't want to spend an hour queueing for a family ride in the blazing heat).

Be aware that food choices are limited (and predictably expensive) - recommend taking a packed lunch and reducing expenses to cold drinks only (beer is reasonabley priced for a resort).

Municipal bus-stop within 200m of the front gate.

We had previously visited this water park a number of years ago and had a really great day out. This year however was different.

The park hasn't changed in 10 years. No new slides and the place is looking really tired. It needs painting and cleaning. There are not enough people picking up rubbish etc around the park.

The queue system is horrendous. If you buy the express wristbands you will be fine but poor. They were €35 each which makes it a ridiculously expensive day out. We didn't buy them and consequently only got on half the rides we would have wanted to. The lifeguards on the rides favour the express queue to the point that people in the normal queue just give up.

As someone else has said in their review I have never experienced queues like this at a water park.

As for the food etc take your own. Even a bottle of water and a coke is expensive. It was over €10 for 3 cokes and a portion of chips the size of a medium macdonalds portion. Glad we took our own sandwiches as would have made it even more expensive.

Absolute waste of money and time .
Well over an hour of queuing to even get into the car park.
45 minute queue to get a locker
45 minute queue for lazy river with no where near enough rings
1 hour queue for an at best mediocre slide
Then bailed the queue for the torrent after 30 minutes when told there was still at least an hour left to queue
So we left
That was it €120 for the park, €12 for the car park €10 for a locker key ( as I wasn’t queueing again to get the deposit back)
Food queues were also around 30-45 minutes long although we only queued 20 minutes for a bottle of drink .

Really just don’t waste your day or money

After reading reviews , we did a little homework before our visit.
We were a family of 7 (2x adults - 3x teenagers & 2 under 12’s).
We walked to the park from the main strip of Salou , took us half hour casual walking , taxis are unreliable so just have a nice stroll & enjoy the holiday family chit chat.
We got to the water park about 10:15am , just before opening & purchased x2 family lockers for €22 (€11 each , you get your locker code printed on a peace of paper you have to carry around all day , if you can bring anything waterproof to pop it into it’ll save you the drama we had of finding a place to put it , but wasn’t a massive issue).
Once entering the park , it was quiet still , so for the first hour & half we attacked the big slides , managed to get on absolutely everything without massive queues.
Once 1pm came the place all of a sudden becomes jam packed but we had already done what we needed too so wasn’t problem.
Honestly , we read the reviews & it paid off , Tuesday is a turnover day for foreign visitors so the parks tend to be a little less busy before midday , which from our experience was spot on.
Food in the park is what you would expect to pay in any theme park / water park in
the U.K. , coke €3+ , fries €4 , sausage & fries €8.90 etc
After this we went in the wave pool / kids pool , kids indoor pool / wave pool & left the park @ 6pm.
All in all we had a lovely day & would happily return & do it how we did all over again.
P.s , if you download the Lidl Plus app , you can get a discount code for the park if they have the current offers on.
