Sanjoy Deb produces Sunidhi Chauhan's single 'Ab Laut Aa'

Bollywood playback singer Sunidhi Chauhan has been crooning songs for Indian cinema for over a decade and now she is working on an independent electronic dance music project. To kick things off, she releases her first single 'Ab Laut Aa' with a powerful music video, which has already collected a a million views.
Sunidhi was looking for a way to expand her artistic horizons and she does so with a U.S.collaboration. California native Sanjoy Deb was in the studio creating the dance music while Sunidhi Chauhan's voice tells the story. Sanjoy reflects on working with Sunidhi, 'We really set out to create a sound no one's ever heard before. I delivered the track and Sunidhi more than delivered on the vocals. It is a dynamic collaboration.'
While the song is sure to get people singing and dancing, the music video speaks volumes on the current issue of female abuse in India. 'We wanted to make a video that speaks of things that matter and in our own humble way I think we have touched a chord,' Sunidhi shared on her social media pages reminding us that this project is her way of bringing light to the situation.
