Biography

Martin Eli Johnson was born in 1786 in North Carolina, the son of Polly and Martin. He married Elizabeth Peace on February 22, 1810, in Hancock, Georgia. They had 11 children in 19 years. He died in 1850 in Leake, Mississippi, at the age of 64.
