Yes, it is. Al Gore joined cinematic celebrities this week on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival.

The former U.S. vice president is at the festival to publicize “An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power,” the follow-up to his 2006 documentary “An Inconvenient Truth.” The new movie will be in the theaters in July.

Gore was accompanied by Elizabeth Keadle, his partner of five years. Gore and his wife, Tipper, separated in 2010, though they have apparently never divorced.

Keadle is wealthy Democratic donor from Rancho Santa Fe, Calif., and the ex-wife of biotech entrepreneur Lyle Turner.
