2005 La case de cousin paul invents this concept of garlands of small hand-woven balls to choose according to your desires, your decorations! It was immediately a success and 18 years later these little light garlands have become iconic.

Discover our new, more technological garland with many functions included.

With its remote control you can choose the warmth of its lighting: sepia for a poetic effect or warm white for perfect color reproduction

It also offers 2 light intensities to become a night light. This option makes it an ideal decoration for children's rooms.

Finally, for optimized use, it is programmable. Activate the timer option (3h or 6h) and your garland becomes autonomous, it will light up every day for the selected duration!

Creating light since 2005: an adventure that's going round!

The original concept of DIY string lights was born in 2005 from a combination of ideas and energies between Stéphane and Atthakrit, who now runs our manufacturing workshops in Thailand.

Very quickly acclaimed, the Original string lights (to be composed or pre-made in boxes) developed into Premium with LEDs and clip-on balls that are even easier to assemble. Then came La Petite Case string lights, with miniature balls created to emit a lovely light in nurseries.

In 2017, la case de cousin paul revisited entertaining string lights and invited itself into your gardens, and onto your terraces and balconies. Modular with extensions, this all-weather string light is also environmentally friendly with its recycled and recyclable plastic balls made in France.

This DIY string light with small woven balls has become iconic and la case de cousin paul has extended the field of possibilities with its lighting.

Small woven balls now large, the globes can be used as a single, double or triple hanging lamp or as a table lamp with its small base, or even as a floor lamp!

The domes provide better lighting thanks to their open base. In four sizes and thirty colors, the choice is vast.

The cloches and jupes are the first lampshades that moved away from a spherical shape. New weaving processes are developed to create innovative and always handmade lights.

Adapted on our round ceiling accessories or on our tracks, these lights offer bold or poetic light depending on the colors. The cloches can also decorate the walls with their stick-on version. There are so many possibilities to play with light and create a unique atmosphere.

In 2019, with the Light collection, color has made a big comeback in our lighting!

Always sharing perfectly mastered expertise in our workshops and offering intense colors and brighter lighting is our challenge.

Always handcrafted using the same initial weaving technique, the globes in the Light collection offer extremely fine and delicate weaving. The transparency effect enhances the color without coloring the light. The color remains present, the material is lightened and this new delicate weaving offers better brightness.

Color and also excess! With this new Light collection in XL and XXL format, getting bigger while remaining light and delicate has become possible.

These large spheres float delicately like bubbles of light and invite you to daydream.

In 2019, new small lamps will join this large family of lighting. Bedside or desk lamps, for the bedroom or the living room, these small lamps, the classic Apapa or the playful BAoBA, offer new possibilities and exude a sunny disposition!
