Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Staying at the Principe Palace hotel, the Piazza Mazzini was directly in front of our hotel. During the day it was quieter and in the evening it would come alive with lots of children running in the fountain and the mist. Their is a carousel on the square too. It’s on a crossroads which is primarily pedestrian, although you do get a few cars and the pedal bikes, especially in the evening. It’s a great place to sit and people watch. Either side of the square are shops, bars and restaurants which seems to go on for miles! The beautiful beach is a 2 min walk and there is also a small arcade. Grea place to visit if you want everything on your doorstep.

So it’s a square surrounded by shops, restaurants and cafes etc with water spouts in the centre! I’m not sure if I can give it a review as such!

The square has a shallow paddle pool, a mist walk and small water jets and it a great place to see joy on the faces of all the children whatever the age. The spectators become enraptured by the efforts of the little ones playing in the water spouts. However age is not a barrier and all ages duck amid the spouts on bikes or just try to splash each other.

This pleasant piazza has ground level fountains, which are nice to see, with many children hopping through them. The evening lights are also very pretty, and there is a nice market on one evening (sorry, I forget which, but you can ask!) It's a good place to sit and enjoy a gelato, too.

There is really nothing to do here, besides if you're with kids. The fun fountain makes children wet and happy.

Water spouts playing., Dry ice coming up from the ground. Both were fantastic to walk through when the day was just too hot. The hotel Principe Palace is on the piazza & is excellent. There is a wonderful bakery/coffee shop just in one corner. Lovely!
