Seeing sound spectrum in Fairlight

PostSun Sep 15, 2019 10:59 pm

Is there anyway to see the spectrum of sound in the Eq's inside firelight? It would be nice to see the audio for processing.

I think the Frequency Analyser effect may be the only way to see the spectrum.

What about native Frequency Analyzer in Fairlight?

Im sorry you guys I think you may be confused, I want to teach a tutorial on how to EQ but the eq's that are built into the firelight tab are fairly basic and the workflow isn't as user friendly as Im used to. I have a great 3rd party EQ, but it would be nice for you to integrate something like my fab filter eq does with the stock plugins for fairlight. Just an idea. And also, there's a vocal preset with fairlight fx that could use an update for some added Q adjustments because what's inside that preset isn't enough to really tighten things up.

Thanks,

jamie

I don't think there's anything wrong with the channel EQ for 90% of uses.

However a feature request for a built in analyzer would be nice, as that's since become a common feature in EQ plugins. I don't find the current Fairlight analyzer very useful.

If possible: I would prefer colors from green to red depending on: frequency or dB :)
