Some friends had suggested this restaurant. The person was friendly and accommodating when making the reservation and nicely greeted us upon arrival. The restaurant is white tablecloth and golf view and patio seating is available. It was prime rib night on a Monday; however, we...were not told that you could get an 8 oz instead of 14 oz. My prime rib was overcooked (ordered medium); was about 50% inedible fat, and would have been flavorless except for the aujus. (In hindsight, I should have not accepted this meal.) As a side item, the rice was overcooked with hard pieces in it. The carrot cake dessert was more like spice cake. Two items that I requested from the server took forever. If you want an enjoyable dinner, try elsewhere until this one gets their act together.More

Nice food but not fine dining We had a reservation for 7pm but the table wasn’t ready. Not a big deal as we had a drink at the bar. I had beef carpaccio which was very good. My husband had mussels which were served with...the kind of tomato sauce that you usually get with pasta. The lovely mussels were overcome by the sauce. I had duck which was served with baby potatoes and veggies. It was very well cooked but served with a side of relish which left the dish needing a good sauce. Maybe orange or cherry would have complemented and completed the dish raising it from nice to excellent. My husband had bang bang chicken and shrimp. He liked the flavour but the rice was sadly overcooked. The service was lovely but the prices are really making you expect fine dining. Sadly it missed the mark.More

This is our favorite country club and we frequently dine here and tell everyone to dine here as well. However tonight was not good. Our waiter was exceptional (Brandon, very personable) but two of our meals came out cold. The manager came to see us...and “offered” to “recook the meals”. Meanwhile, the other three people were done eating which defeats the purpose of eating out with others. Why am I frustrated? Because the manager should have offered a dessert for the error in cooking two meals at a cost of over $26. Have not seen or dealt with this manager before and I am concerned the standards are slipping.More

We celebrated the Wife's Birthday Jun 2nd with a very Delicious Meal, We went back to Lopez on Saturday June 20th for Steak Night and enjoyed a wonderful Prime Rib meal, very delicious. My parents raved about this restaurant so when I visited they had to take me here. I thought that the inside was very nice and we had a nice spot on the patio. Our reservation was on time. The table was not set for us,...no centerpiece or silverware and napkins. Waters were only brought out on request and it was pretty warm out so you would expect a good waiter to have them on the table as soon as seated. Waiter did not provide the specials until asked and he wasn’t familiar with the wine menu or other menu items. He did offer to take a photo of us which was nice of him. I ordered a salad which wasn’t any good. Really you shouldn’t mess up a salad, it’s not difficult to just check that the salad is fresh. It’s not like cooking a meat to a specific temp. I lost my appetite after a slimy dead bite of lettuce. The beef tenderloin was very good. Cooked perfect. Everyone’s meat at the table was cooked properly. The sauce was delicious. Vegetables on the side were soggy and over cooked yet under seasoned (none whatsoever). The manager/owner visited the table multiple times and was friendly and welcoming. Overall I think the meal was ok but I would not recommend or visit again.More

We have mixed feelings about this restaurant. Ordered chicken noodle soup - Hmm, no noodles and was salty. Order pot roast but the meat was stringy and chewy. Manager Mike to the rescue. Reordered chicken Marsala and it was quite good. All the “chefs” veggies-...string beans and carrots were mostly raw. We find a lot of restaurants serve veggies this way. Are we the only one who like cooked veggies. By the way, the prime rib was good.More

For my birthday we went to this restaurant for dinner. I was really surprised at how beautiful with old world charm it had, I ordered the chateaubriand medium rare with garlic mashed potatoes and vegetable medley, I can really tell you that it was perfect,...the red wine reduction glaze was delightful, it was the best meal that I had in the 2 years that we lived here, sorry that we did not find this sooner, our server Victor was most attentive and on point to make sure we were taken care of. Outstanding dinner, great service. We’ve been here many times and service has always been good. Heather was no exception. She understood that we were with good friends and needed time to relax and drink adult beverages. On a recent visit to the Villages (our first) we tried several of the restaurants and this one was my favorite. My husband had the escargot and the filet medallions and I had the salmon Wellington and everything we had was excellent. We finished up...with the chocolate dessert based on a recommendation from our waiter and a lady at a nearby table and if you love chocolate then you absolutely can’t miss this one.... awesome!More

I have eaten at the Legacy Restaurant several time over the past few months. Each time the service was amazing and the wait staff very attentive. The food was very good and the presentation beautiful. The decor of the restaurant (totally remodeled) is classy and...not over the top - It is very tastefullyl done. It is a very comfortable place to go. Reservations are suggested and I think it is a VERY good idea to make on. We (I) will go back again soon. One of my favorites is Mushroom Brie Soup and another is Chicken Picatta. Enjoy!More
