Genesis – Trespass

My pink scroll G1/G1 is easily the best sounding Trespass that I've heard . It beats the early large Hatter pressings by some distance .

With this pressing, the sound is good, clear and powerful enough. If you find it cheap, take advantage of it.

very disappointed with this reissue. The sound is not good, it's muffled.
People always praise UK pressings, but you can skip this one.

Vocals are kind of muddy. Gave it a good cleaning. Don't know if the previous owner didn't take care of it, or if that's how it was supposed to sound.

Peter's vocals sound insanely muffled, a bit less with the other instruments but still muffled. Not worth buying.

Sounds like shit. Peter sounds like he's being choked with pillow, while he's singing...

Been listening to this record for 50 years and I still love it.
This version is the earliest first press, and the sound quality is excellent…

Far and away the best sounding version of this album I have ever heard.

I have two very first pressings with both the G 1 / G 1 stampers. The first is - as mentioned above with a heavily textured sleeve inside and out, the other copy is the same but lightly textured outside AND inside. Both copies have the small p 1970 on both sides (the small, bold lettered ones).

I Have a copy that is essentially similar to this release. It has the Phonodisc sticker on inside gatefold but below says printed and made by EJ Day.
