Marymount College, Tarrytown - The Official Alumnae Group (MMC Group) values robust and civil discourse, and seeks to promote freedom of expression. We welcome critical posts and opposing points of view, but users shall refrain from using profanity and from making personal attacks in any comments posted to the MMC Group page.
As MMC Group represents a large and diverse group of women, the group admins reserve the right to moderate comments without prior notification as part of our standard social media practices. We delete comments that contain personal attacks, obscene, harassing, or threatening language, and ban users who violate these terms. As a rule, we delete comments that are clearly off-topic, as well as advertising and solicitations for non-MMC Group events, products, businesses, and fundraisers.

1
No Hate Speech or Bullying
Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.
2
Be Kind and Courteous
We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.
3
No Promotions or Spam
Give more than you take to this group. Self-promotion, spam and irrelevant links aren't allowed.
4
Respect Everyone's Privacy
Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What's shared in the group should stay in the group.

If you violate a group rule, you will be "muted" (can read posts but can't comment) for 72 hours. One more violation will lead you to be removed from the group. This is a safe space for all.
