Over the years, 7 Little Johnstons fans have called out what they see as the unfair treatment of Anna Johnston by her TLC relatives. Amber Johnston and Trent Johnston are notorious for ruling their household with an iron fist. One thing that viewers have brought attention to is the fact that they are more lenient on some children than others.
While Trent and Amber seem to baby someone like Alex Johnston, they seem to be unnecessarily hard on Anna Johnston. Many viewers agree that this treatment is unfair. In certain moments, it even appears that the entire family gangs up on Anna.

With all the 7 Little Johnstons talk over the years about everyone treating Anna Johnston unfairly and disliking her, there is a major clue that offers proof. Some TLC fans with detective skills recently pointed out the fact that Amber, Trent, and Liz no longer follow Anna on Instagram. Along with that, it looks like Anna Johnston doesn’t follow them either. This social media unfollowing appears to confirm what many viewers have always suspected.
It could be that now that Anna Johnston has a successful business and her own home, she doesn’t want to live in anyone’s shadow anymore, or to feel like she is playing second fiddle in her own family dynamic. It’s also possible that there could have been a falling out at some point.
In contrast, Emma is still following Anna on Instagram. So, that certainly looks suspicious, especially when you consider all the theories fans have come up with over the years about Anna being the black sheep of the family.

They are still together
I like Anna and think she had come a very long way. The kids I believe are favored are Alex and Emma. Shame on any parents who favor one child over another. It happened in my family and I’ll tell you it hurt and causes great resentment.
I agree with, but also think that Liz is also given lots of favoring. She got pregnant and even though the parents were upset in the beginning. They sure warmed up to it really fast. Imagine if it had been Anna that pregnant. She would of never heard the end of it from her parents.
Anna has come a long way from what I can see she was a troubled child which some adopted kids are, but the one who scares me the most with regards to the children is Amber. Amber if you play close attention to her as a mom have no compassion for the kids, before they can get out of high school good she’s ready to kick them out. When she said they can’t have any of their bedroom furniture, omg, as a mother I gasped, she said they have to buy their home they not taking anything out of here. Amber look at these kids as a paycheck and once that paycheck stops, she done. Kids just starting out, I help my kids every step of the way and why would I keep furniture they were using, unless I plan on moving some other kids in🙄. It seem as if in one season Anna along with the oldest daughter we’re about to spill some beans, they were saying their mom could get real tough. But Amber seem as the show renewed season after season, she lightened up and I believe cause the money was coming in. She started to make the kids do all this weird stuff, I guess to have something to film, but you notice Anna wouldn’t do a lot of these things and I thing it pissed Amber off. Anna couldn’t wait to move on her own to get away from Amber, thats why she work so hard. And of course Amber treat the youngest ones with kids glove because they the only two still in the house that can film as kids, paycheck. And of course now they are happy with the baby being born because they can continue to film, they have a new baby in the house,paycheck. I think Amber was going to adopt more kids just to keep the show going, this lady scares me, anyone in it for the paycheck I don’t trust. I would like to get Anna to talk, to tell her side of things and the youngest girl too because Emily had som apprehension on things one season, but she seem to shut down and get quiet, now when Amber is around she will talk on camera looking at floor, Amber got some hold. If only we can get the kids side of things without the patents. The oldest son became a alcoholic at a young age, why and where was he getting the alcohol and how this concern wasn’t a concern in the beginning? It’s just a lot of hidden secrets behind the cameras
