We walked down the avenue du Chateau to get to the terrace - well worth the walk, along a tree-lined sidewalk. And an unexpected sight along the way - the house where Richard Wagner lived - but not available for visits, as far as I could tell. The terrace is also tree-lined - those long rows of perfectly aligned trees that are so impressive. But the main reason people go there - and apparently not in great numbers, even though it is free - we had no more than 6 others in that large space - is for the views of Paris, and the views are quite amazing. Take your camera (even better if with zoom) and enjoy!

Absolutely wonderful museum focussed on Rodin’s works. For me the highlight was the gardens which were beautiful in the winter sunshine. In the garden you have the opportunity to see a number of his bronzes, including the thinker.

The museum itself was very interesting and you got to see works from every stage of his life. There was also a focus on his technique so you got sone understanding of how some of the pieces were made.

I spent two days this weekend waking the trails in this amazing forest! There were many other people walking, running, biking and roller skating! Most paths are dirt but well outlined. Going at this time of year the chestnuts and acorns are falling so there are people gathering them. In the forest I found ponds, old trees with Druid looking rock formations, wooden fencing that hasn’t changed for many many years! It was such a relaxing place to wander and get closer to nature.

It's relaxing to stroll away from urban hustle/bustle through this lovely and ancient park/garden which also "boasts" 1) a pretty Russian Orthodox chapel built by refugees
who fled Russia after the Soviet Revolution and 2) a building housing a number of handcraft workshops.

It is a small but attractive museum now specialized in paintings of Paris surroundings. The garden also houses a vineyard

This is one of the only olympic sized pools in the South West side of Paris. Its located in a magic setting on a hill and overlooking a soccer field near Meudon Val Fleury. A few of the swimming lanes are reserved for swimming lengths. The pool itself is magic. The only negative is that the front desk receptionist and manager can be incredibly rude and treat customers like xxxx which is a lttle out of place in Meudon. Once you get past the front desk, the place great.
