In my personal experience with Mishawaka High School, I've found it to be an excellent place for learning that lets students focus on what they want in life. It does have an excessive number of fights for me. However, the fights have been handled quickly and privately. On the more positive side of my experience, the high school is very good about providing high-level academics and presents many resources to students. A thing I would enjoy seeing changed is the students' culture, as some students present unsafe or inappropriate attitudes.
There are a number of problem teachers that often discourage further interest in their subjects. Despite that there are many very passionate teachers and a wide variety of collage classes and classes teaching important technical or trades skills. I feel well prepared for collage, but can not guarantee the same experience to others.
My high school experience has been an overall positive experience. My favorite memory is going to Semi-State with my bowling team. It was really exciting because it was my first time going to Semi-State with my team and my coaches first time also going to Semi-State with our team. My least favorite memory is the lunch food, it's not good all the time. Which can be really sad at times when it's a food you like but the school found a way to make you not like it. Something I would change is the food because I only have 5 meals I actually enjoy eating and it gets boring eating the same thing over and over again.
