Terry passed peacefully on March 3, 2024 at the age of 77 years old, surrounded by his loving family at his side. Predeceased by his father Michael, his mother Nora and his brother David. Terry was a pioneer and Icon in the building supply industry; he started his career at Seaford Sales in North Vancouver in 1965. In 1975, he moved to Hollyburn Lumber where he would become a partner in the business in 1977. Throughout Terry's career at Hollyburn, he maintained long term relationships and friendships with major builders, developers, renovators, mills, plywood and lumber suppliers throughout the province. In July 2002, Terry ventured out with his 4 sons to start Southridge Building Supplies in Cloverdale B.C. With Terry's guidance, leadership and mentorship he left behind a true family owned successful business, of which he was very proud. Terry's love of gardening, sports (Canucks, Lions, White Caps), Cadillac's, family BBQ's and Elvis were just a few of his many favorite past times. Terry was a devoted husband, dad, papa, great-grand papa and friend to so many. Terry leaves behind his loving bride of 59 years Wilma, Sons Jamey (Gllena), Tony (Sue), Jeremy (Paula), Kevin (Marian), daughter Kristina, as well as 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren along with many other loving relatives. The family would like to thank all the Dr's and nurses at Surrey Memorial Hospital for their tremendous care. A service will be held for Terry on Saturday May 4, 2024 at 11:00a.m. at the Victory Memorial Park and Funeral Centre at 14831-28th Avenue in South Surrey.
In lieu of flowers, a donation would be appreciated to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

Orders placed in:
January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
