The food was fantastic, loved everything. The service was impeccable. The waiter was magnficient. He was the best I've ever had in a restaurant. Would love to go back again!

We went for a family dinner after not being there for several years. What a difference. I don't think we will be back. The food was not at all tasty and my scallops were too salty. All our food was served room temperature except the soups which were warm but not hot. Our table lacked the plates we needed for each course. Could there have been a broken dishwasher? My side dish of Brussel sprouts was served with the soup! There really was little that went right. I am so sorry as this used to be a very lovely place to eat.

Hadn’t been here since 2018, pre Covid, it was still affiliated with Mitchell’s restaurants. Since Landrys has taken ownership it’s our 1st visit. Happy hour menu: Apps pot stickers excellent! Spicy shrimp excellent White Sangria - $5 Fish sandwich was very good / 2 fillets and toppings - $9 + fries - $2. Dinner menu: Summer salad with strawberry’s, pecans excellent - $11 Overall good food reasonable prices Overall a good light meal

After driving in the rain all day, got to our hotel and this restaurant was nearby. Very nice. Not crowded at 3 p.m. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Waitress was personable and helpful. Really enjoyed the crab cakes. As good as when in Charleston, S.C. Hubby had sirloin which he enjoyed as well. Nice stop to eat.

Seated in Captain Quarters, it was a quiet dining experience overall. Our server was covering regular tables in addition to our private section. So there were times when we required assistance and could not get it as quickly. Our party was about 11 guests total. We had multiple courses and beverages from the bar. The wine and cocktail menus are extensive. Top shelf is available. The main entrées we’re done well. We had king crab, Seafood Americana, two types salmon, sea bass, filet mignon, and shrimp scampi. The filet was chewy and there were parts that could not be consumed. The Seafood Americana had wonderful and balanced flavor. The restaurant week options were of course smaller portions but satisfying for those not looking to take home leftovers. It was a 3 course offering with a soup or salad, main dish, and dessert for $40. The mash potatoes packed a lot of rich flavor. There was no bread or crackers served ahead of the apps or meals. It should be easier to sustain an appetite for the actual courses. But the waitress waited until the final course to announce the cheesecake was sold out. The calamari app and desserts were lacking. The Apple Butter Cake was basically fresh out of the refrigerator and not soft or warm at all. The vanilla ice cream it was topped with was not premium at all. I have been here before and the amount of money spent this time around was higher with less value. It was nice watching the game on a private screen in the private room. The restaurant is under going renovations and many common areas had noticeable makeshift walking paths that were quite awkward. My old fashion was so so. I could have done without it. It did not have the flare of a mixologist by any means. Large parties do include an automatic gratuity of 18%. Not sure if the service actually matched that but it was imposed.

the great. the food, the bread, salad, and Seafood Americano were delicious. the entree was one of the best dinners I've had. others had the shitake bowl, fish and chips and shrimp and chips. they thought their food great as well. the not so great. we had to ask for water. four of six had arrived. when the last two got there they had to ask for water. bread, 6 slices, 6 people, never a thought of offering more. everything was like pulling teeth. if there wasn't a charge for it, it wasn't worth our server's time. But that was one server and again everyone loved their food. Also, it was happy hour but those deals don't apply in the dining area only the bar, a first for me. so have your drinks at the bar and save 60%.

Quality seafood in a city far from the nearest ocean is always a challenge. In this case, both of our choices – broiled mahi-mahi and cod stuffed with shrimp and lobster – were quite fresh. They were also the highlights of our recent meal to celebrate a birthday. Accompaniments were not memorable – the mashed potatoes may have been above average but the green beans (for me) and asparagus (for my wife) needed more time in the kitchen and were closer to warm but raw rather than al dente. Service was mixed. We appreciated being given the chance to wait a few minutes for a far better table than what was first available. But when we asked our waitress for recommendations for the freshest fish available that night, she suggested sea bass, adding that it was an excellent freshwater choice. Sea bass. And the extra slices of lemon I requested never appeared. Prices are at the level of a special occasion restaurant. Our meals might have been acceptable but not enough to match the price point and not enough for us to consider a return any time soon. I gave the restaurant 3 stars; 2 1/2 is more accurate.

I've come several times to the restaurant and had a good experience. The last time I came, I had my car broken into in the parking lot while I was in eating dinner. The manager and other staff came out and admitted that this is an ongoing problem that upper management at Landry's knows about but hasn't bothered to deal with. They refuse to hire security or add additional lighting. You could see little piles of broken glass around the parking lot, so it was obvious that this had happened multiple times in recent days. The manager took my information and said that upper management would contact me to check in, but no one ever called. I contacted them a few times and never got a response. So they don't care. I would never recommend this place again. Very unsafe!

I just wanted broiled flounder.. classic.. server said that was not available, just deep fried... I questioned her... can't they just pop it in the oven or even pan fry? nope... what came was something from Kroger.. thick breading on a fish wafer.. uneatable.. obviously prepackaged product from a vendor

My wife and I were traveling across country and stopped in Columbus for a convention and the OSU game on a Saturday night. My wife is hard of hearing and has several health conditions. Our waitress was very rude and acted offended when my wife asker her to repeat some of the menu options. The restaurant was moderately busy, and our meal took 45 minutes. My wife ordered a glazed salmon that was overcooked and the glaze was cold. The waitress made us both feel very unwelcome and unimportant to the point that we did not ask for drink refills or desert. It was clear the waitress was trying to push us out of the table so she could seat more guests. One of the rudest and self centered servers I have encountered in my time. A waste of time and money.

This was a great restaurant, we just moved back to the area, what a sad place this is. Empty at lunchtime? Never a good sign. Canned tough corn, cod that had been frozen. Food on the yeh? Side. Won’t return. So confusing to have the Mitchell name on it. There is nothing Cameron Mitchell about this place.

Enjoyed a nice late lunch here today near OSU campus after shopping at the Lenox Center. Started with sharing a Jumbo shrimp cocktail—very tasty and the tartar-like sauce was a nice surprise along with the cocktail sauce. My adult daughter had Spritzed Up, a cocktail with fruit forward mango flavor and Prosecco, I had a Lunetta Prosecco both very good! I had the Lunch Salmon and Veggie couscous—perfectly done salmon and the couscous was fresh and full of veggie chunks and lovely shiitake mushrooms. Daughter had the Panko Big Fish sandwich—it was big! Came with Cole slaw (just OK) and some yummy skinny fries—really good and salted perfectly. We didn’t have room for dessert! Great service from Derek and helpful recommendations. Try this place! We love it.

Dinner started great, got seated right away and had a very attentive server. Started with the Lobster Bisque, which was tasty. Wasn't sure what seafood I wanted so I ordered the Market Trio. Mashed potatoes and asparagus were good. Crab cake was very good. Shrimp was terribly overcooked to where it was dry and chewy. Was it seasoned well. I asked for salmon to be rare but it came medium well. Those with me fared better.

My husband and I made reservations for my birthday. It was not busy at 6pm on Fri. night. We were seated quickly & waitress took our drink order quickly but that was it. She was not friendly or timely the rest of the eve. Our soup was luke warm but couldn't find her to express our displeasure. Other employees removed our plates throughout the evening as she was nowhere to be found. Our meal was good but service was severely lacking. Not once did she warm up our coffee. We had to wait to get our check and also to get cashed out. I talked with the manager about our experience. He apologized but the whole experience left us with such disappointment that we will look elsewhere for another restaurant to frequent.
