ARIA HOTEL PRAGUE - Prices & Reviews (Czech Republic)
Tripadvisor gives a Travelers’ Choice award to accommodations, attractions and restaurants that consistently earn great reviews from travelers and are ranked within the top 10% of properties on Tripadvisor.
Aria Hotel Prague is a world class luxury music themed hotel. An oasis in the heart of Prague with its Baroque Garden, world famous Rooftop Terrace and 51 unique rooms and suites, recently completely renovated in 2018; each celebrates an artist or musician. Designed by Versace's genius architech Roberto Magnoli and Lorenzo Carmellini. Introducing the treasures of a private collection of original masterpieces by Chagall, Picasso, Braque or Dali. A peaceful serenity over the rooftops of the City of 1000 Spires. Reward yourself!
The hotel used to be the governors mansion which was converted to apartments during communist era, and then converted to a hotel recently.
We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed every minute. The rooms are spacious and modern. The service is impeccable, always looking to please. You may think you are in Ritz Carlton. Location is great and quiet, far from hustle and bustle of tourist area yet only a 5-10 minute walk to everything.
Can’t say enough about the gardens. A work of art with great views of the city.
The hotel has many original art work from Chagall, Dali and others. Very impressive.
You must try the rooftop restaurant with great views of the city and excellent food.
We will definitely come back and stay longer this time.
Till then.
John D.
Dear John D,
thank you very much for your extensive and very positive review !
We do very much appreciate your comments about the room condition and design - all rooms & suites have been completely and extensively renovated in the beginning of 2018 and hand picked designer furniture and custom made furnishings were installed as well as Italian fabrics for curtains and black outs.
We are also very proud of our SAFFRON Beds - premium quality beds that were also installed into all guest rooms during renovations.
Vrtba Garden is a true gem ( open April - October ) , rooftop Terrace offers breathtaking views and culinary highlights. CODA Restaurant and Winter garden feature a very extensive Art collection and creates a truly extraordinary ambiance.
We truly hope to be able to welcome you back to Aria Hotel Prague next time for more than 4 days - please do feel free to reach out to me directly for future reservation arrangements.
Sincerely
Jan Korta

Superb hotel in every single way; we will never stay anywhere else in Prague
My husband and I stayed at Aria from Dec 19th - Dec 23rd and we had the most incredible experience. This hotel has figured out everything that travelers need and want in a hotel and they execute these tasks to perfection. The lobby and downstairs gathering area are elegant, welcoming and were decorated beautifully for the holidays. The check in process (thanks to Tanya) was completely stress free, very professional, quick and fluid (which was so crucial after nearly a whole day of traveling), and we were so impressed right away with the staff. I can't say enough wonderful things about the accomodations. We were lucky enough to be in the Smetana suite, and every single detail was exquisite! The architecture, the windows, the antiques, the well-appointed kitchen, the fabulous bathroom, and the roomy closet are more fabulous than I could possibly describe. They have an extremely high quality and easy to use stereo setups in the rooms and you can easily play your music from your devices or music from their selection (along with tv/movies, of course) and I loved how this detail went hand in hand with the musical theme of the hotel. It was such a treat that we enjoyed immensely. We loved exploring Prague and the neighborhood that Aria is in but we adored coming back to the suite to relax or prepare for the next activity. It was so hard to leave! The breakfast at Aria is exceptional and has everything you could possibly want all prepared and ready, and we were thrilled to start each day with this treat. We also had an extremely delicious and wonderfully festive and fancy dinner at their restaurant Coda, and it was as perfect as all the other aspects of Aria. Treat yourself to dinner and you will not regret it! The workout facilities are well equipped and I enjoyed trying to work off the calories I consumed at breakfast. Finally, I have to mention the staff. Aria is superb in every way and I have no doubt that it is because of the thought put into all the hotel's details and the people who keep the wheels turning each and every day, whatever their role may be. Everyone we talked to or came in contact with was nothing short of wonderful and professional. Henry the Concierge, Tanya at the front desk, Dusan at Coda, and Jiri the general manager represent just a few of the exceptionally talented and experienced people who made our stay so splendid. They are the absolute best at what they do and they are so gracious and willing to help! Thank you to everyone at Aria for the exquisite experience! We will be back someday!
Dear "th0mp131",

It was our first time visiting Prague. Although we arrived late night, the receptionist was quite helpful and gave us warm welcome. He recommended us to visit the private outside garden(the staff advised that this is usually closed during winter sadly) which was beautiful! One of the staff, Martin, showed us the room, explained the concept and gave us some helpful information about things to do in Prague. The breakfast was included in our rate and we enjoyed a selection of breads, meats, cereals and condiments.
The hotel is located a 3-5 minutes walk away from the famous Charles Bridge, which was a magnificent sight!
Highlight of the stay was definitely the staff, as they went above and beyond to make our experience memorable.
Would definitely recommend!!
Dear flubbaduck,

We loved our stay at the Aria Hotel! Very friendly, helpful reception and concierge staff, beautiful art and decor, with the musical theme carried throughout in fun and interesting ways. We also appreciated the breakfasts and nightcaps we had in the beautiful bar. The location is also great—very centrally located with all the main sights an easy walk away. Prague will definitely be on our list for a return visit, as will the Aria.

This hotel was perfect for us in all aspects. It was about 5 - 7 min walk from Charles Bridge and about 29 min from the Prague Castle. The service staff here is absolutely phenomenal. We have never experienced better level of service and friendliness than this hotel in any other even more expensive hotel around the world that we have stayed in. Our room had a smart TV along with an Apple TV device so we could cast certain USA programs from our phone on to the TV. Breakfast and afternoon team the restaurant was definite plus. Hotel has a private multi level garden which has a great view of the city. Art work (music theme) and sculptures in the hotel were very interesting

The Aria Hotel was excellent. The in room amenities (iPad, iPhone with free international calling and city guides and Apple t.v.) were excellent. The location was perfect for our tastes, busy but not crazy busy. Breakfast came with our room and everything was excellent. The only thing better than the hotel was the hotel staff, they were courteous, helpful, and they assisted us perfectly with all of our requests, from dinner reservations to arranging a ride to the airport in the early morning. I highly recommend the hotel, and will review the hotel’s excellent rooftop restaurant, Coda, in a separate review. We had a great stay in Prague and would stay at the Aria again without hesitation!

We spent two nights at the Aria and had a wonderful time. The hotel and our room had everything that you would expect from a 4* hotel. The location is ideal to explore Prague by foot. What really impressed us was the staff. They were incredibly friendly and helpful and even organized (and paid for!) a local repair service for our car when it suffered a flat tire, so that we were able to get home safely. That was way more than Porsche was able to offer as help! Thanks again to the wonderful people at the reception and the service, we will be back for sure!

Aria Prague was the start to our 2 week adventure. We could not have been happier. My friends who were staying at the 4 Seasons wished they had booked their rooms at Aria. Every encounter with each staff member was a pleasure. We dined in the hotel for all 3 of our breakfasts and spent our last evening enjoying the restaurant. The location was a stone’s throw away from Charles Bridge. If I return to Prague I won’t even think of staying anywhere else.

Every aspect of the hotel is perfect. The front desk, the room, the rooftop terrace, the garden... all exceptionally well maintained and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast is also very good and every worker encountered made a point to say hello and make sure your stay is going well. I will return here again for sure.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Aria Prague. They exude excellent customer service, had the best location and a beautiful Vrtba garden next to it. I was so lucky to have a room overlooking the Vrtba garden. I also used their car service few times when I had to watch a ballet at the National Theatre and also a classical concert at the Spanish Synagogue. Location is close to the major tourist area including Charles Bridge. Overall, I had an amazing stay at Aria and would surely return when I visit Prague again.

The Aria Hotel Prague is the ideal hotel to experience excellent hospitality, best location, gorgeous facilities including their treasure: The Vrtbovska Garden part of the UNESCO heritage, and fantastic staff such as Katarina and Dominik who made our dinners at their Coda Restaurant the most fun and memorable with elegant and friendly service. Twice they waited for us with smiles to serve us late dinners after concerts. Coda cuisine prepared by chef David Sasek was delicious. He uses organic ingredients emphasizing simple but exquisite taste. Weather permitting, Coda open its rooftop where you can enjoy a magical dinner with wonderful views of the Prague Castle, cathedrals and beautiful buildings. In addition, Aria Hotel includes champagne breakfast with a lovely variety…

This was our 5th Stay at the Aria Prague. As it was my wife's birthday, Jiri Hlavaty (General Manager) and Jan Korta (Sales Manager) pushed the boat out to make our stay that bit more special, so an enormous thanks to them and the rest of the Aria staff for making our stay with them that extra bit special. The Aria is a delightfully quiet hotel, located in a quiet part of Prague, yet only a 5 or 10 minute walk from the centre. The hotel has been upgraded (2018) and is extremely tastefully decorated, with a lot of original artwork displayed by the likes of Salvador Dali. We thoroughly enjoy staying at the Aria, and cannot emphasise enough that the whole Aria experience, will blow your socks off! I would also offer a special thanks to restaurant manager Zoran (?) & chef David…

Yes, it is accessible by taxi and no, it’s not on a hill. No steps up to reception and there’s an elevator right at reception. One of the people I was traveling with had a knee issue which seriously affected his mobility and he was fine getting in and out of the hotel and accessing his room and the breakfast and public rooms.
