Very Poor - popped in for a drink, sat at the bar.
No lager so I had to opt for an IPA which was not very pleasant, friend had a G&T.
Came to pay and was initially presented with a bill for £28 which happened to be for the 2 guys drinks sitting next to us…… eventually got our bill for £17.55!
This included a service charge…… I have NEVER paid a service charge for drinking a beer at a bar so refused to pay it.
So people BEWARE this place may well try to rip you off.
Certainly wouldn’t return.

During my walk through the streets of London, I was drawn into this restaurant by the lively crowd and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Sunday roast with chicken, which was perfectly cooked—lean and juicy. The highlight for me was the rich gravy that complemented the potatoes, carrots, broccoli, and other vegetables beautifully.
The drink menu was impressive as well, and I opted for their version of an Old Fashioned. George, the bartender, was not only skilled at his craft but also incredibly friendly and approachable, adding to the overall charm of the place. His banter with Amy, another member of the staff, was genuinely entertaining and contributed to a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
The place was bustling, which is always a good sign of a great dining spot. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for delicious food and a warm, engaging environment.

Lovely pub with great ambiance and staff.
Had a table outside in the sunshine watching and listening to the working stable and mews next door,
Food was lovely and the service was awesome (Thanks to Emar, Amy and George)
Will most certainly come back on my next visit to London.

My friends and I had a lovely time for lunch and the food was spot-on. The weather was beautiful and got to seat outside.
Excellent attentive service provided by Amy, Emir and George.
We had the best time and will look forward to the next time we come back.

On holidays from Australia, a great pub to visit near Paddington area. Excellent UK sourced food, we all enjoyed the beautiful meals and appreciated great friendly service from Anna and Aimee. Fantastic old style decor and adjacent to real horse stables for extra vibe.

I love visiting the Stablehand, it never disappoints. Everything is locally sourced and the atmosphere is very welcoming and calm. Today my friend and I had incredible service from Wadzie, thank you for being so attentive and accommodating, I will be back to the stablehand very soon for sure!

We were staying at the hotel opposite and wanted to eat in a local pub.
The food. Fish and chips and hotpot were excellent. Very hot and tasty and good value for money.
Shakira served us and was so friendly and welcoming.
Nice atmosphere.

George and Aimee were amazing !! The service was excellent they were friendly, courteous and helpful.

I chose this place to meet visiting relatives as it was close to their hotel. It was an excellent decision, we all enjoyed the food, nice but casual atmosphere, and the great service!
I expected more of a pub feel, but while they have a bar, it is definitely more of a restaurant. Bonus was that there are a few nice outdoor tables on a very quiet street.
Would recommend when in the area.

Excellent British food, staff is very welcoming and made my two kids' first UK visit something to remember. Special thanks to Aimee for being so sweet and patient with them. We'll just keep coming back!

We were in London for 12 days, staying nearby, and stopped in our first night. By the end of our stay we had visited five times, including for dinner and Sunday roast. Amazing food! And terrific service! Aimee took care of us nearly every time and was wonderful. Thank you Aimee!

My girlfriend and I had a lovely time here, we were in London for a concert and popped in for drink's, was served by Shakira who was very welcoming and amazing service with the drink's, so we decided to come back for dinner as the menu looked amazing, before we left we met George who reserved us a table and made special arrangements for our seating due to problems with my knee's, upon arrival for dinner George greeted us we had a lovely drink outside on there patio ordered our starters and George informed us when they were at our table, I had the slow roasted lamb shoulder which was excellent, George and Shakira made us feel very welcome and went above and beyond.
I would highly recommend this pub, and my girlfriend and I will definitely be going back there next time we are in London.

Service was excellent. George and Eimeal were completely in sync. We sat at the bar and it was quite nice to see people work so well together. My drink was delicious too

first visit to the Stablehand we loved this pub/restaurant it was very comfortable even after 5 hours we went for the Sunday roast, the food and service was fantastic.
we only had 2 very small niggles ( the beautifully well cooked food was only Luke worm and the music got so loud conversations got very shouty and we had to ask for the music to be turned down) Dear lovely staff please don't forget its not a music venue!
