    Funny, smart, and a wonderful comedy series

    The comedy still holds up after 20 years. The guest stars are a Who's Who of comedy greats. The situations are ones that everyone can relate to, especially if you have a underachieving adult child living at home. My husband and I watched it when it originally aired, and we are enjoying it the second time around just as much.

    A brilliantly funny show!

    There are HOURS and HOURS of laughs in this box set. It may seem pricey at first, but you are getting 13 DVDs! They are packaged very nicely and there are many fun bonus features and a funny booklet included. Dr. Katz was truly a unique program with great writing. The only negative I have is that the "squiggle vision" (the method of animation) takes a little getting used to as it is jumpy and jerky, but it also adds to the charm of the show. There are comedy routines from some of the best stand-up comedians of today and the 80's and 90's featured in each session. If you are a fan of stand-up comedy, you will not be disappointed in this box set.

    Great stand up put to cartoon characters

    When I first saw this series on Comedy Central I thought it was a clever idea; to use various stand-up comics as the characters in a psychiatrists office. As with any group of comics, some you'll find better or more to your sense of humor than others. I found some of the bits to be absolutely side splitting, hard to breathe funny. I hadn't thought about this show in quite a while and then looked up a few on Youtube. They hold up quite well. The "squiggle vision" effect might seem strange at first but I've never found it annoying. If you try it, you're sure to become Dr. Katz fans.

    Dr Katz Is just the Bee's Knees!

    I have loved this show from when it aired now I own it on 13 disks. Super happy with it and would recommend it to any Dr Katz fan!
