I transferred to Rio Rancho High School in my senior year and was met with a much better experience than my previous enrollments. Thanks to that, I had a wonderful graduation.
I am currently a sophomore in Rio Rancho class of 2026 have a 3.8 GPA and play 4 sports. Playing sports is the only good thing at this school because I have made friends. Everything else is bad like really bad. The teachers barely teach. The restrooms are run by smoking and other drugs. The curriculum is very undermining with often days with no work to be done. Another thing is safety the amount of school fights and amount wannabe gangsters and gang bangers is crazy they are always fighting and smoking 9/10 times if you go to the bathroom it will be filled with fake gangsters that just smoke and sell drugs. I can't explain how much drug trade and influence is actullay in this school. From my experiences at this school 75% of students smoke weed and
vape. I am not going to lie about the kids here it is ridiculous if you are thinking about sending your kid DONT the only decent thing is actullay playing football or other sports. Also if you play sports expect your stuff to be stolen

The best part about my school is how they promote inclusivity to different ethnic groups and how engaging and fun our clubs can be. The worst thing about my school is the lack of school spirit we sometimes bring to our sports as we mostly support our football team. I would love to see a change in that. Our school has a lot to offer and I think we should support all our sports and their accomplishments not just one. Supporting all of our sports brings in more school spirit around our school making it more engaging for one another.
