Minha opinião: Década de 80, década de ouro do cinema, dos filmes de ação, comédia, terror, romance, mesmo de super heróis, drama,.... posso dizer também a década de Stallone com os filmes Rambo, Rocky, Stallone Cobra, Falcão. Décadas dos Macho-mans. A série de RAMBO, um sucesso da década de 80. Rambo I (1982), Rambo II (1985), Rambo III (1988) esta é a triologia, Rambo IV (2008) (20 anos depois, muito tarde), Rambo V (2019) (a despedida) 37 anos de estória. Ver como os bíceps de Stallone se desenvolveram do I ao III filme. O filme é baseado em um livro First Blood escrito por David Morrell e lançado em 1972. Lá Rambo morre, porem no filme fizeram 2 finais, ele morrendo e ele indo preso. Graças a Deus foi a 2ª opção. Aqui Rambo esta vagando pelo interior dos EUA, a procura de seus parceiros de guerra do Vietnam. Mas ele encontra eles mortos. Em um momento de crise existencial. O xerife Will começa a persegui-lo, sendo que ele só quer tomar um café, em John Wick foi o cachorro. Mas ele acaba levando até a delegacia, ai o bulling e humilhação aumentam. Até que ele reage e foge para a floresta. Neste momento xerife Will, manda um batalhão de pessoas caça=lo. Nesta caçada um dos guardas perde a vida, com o desejo de vingança ele aumenta a caçada. Nesta hora ele mostra para oque foi treinado e fere todo o batalhão, até o momento que o encurralam em uma mina. E com uma bazuca soterram Rambo. Mas sera que foi morto? Neste momento aparece o Cel. Trautman, seu antigo cel. Do esquadrão do Vietnam. Ele tenta aconselhar Rambo a se entregar, mas ele recusa. Em cenas onde Rambo arma suas armadilhas e de como se camufla, lembrando bem o filme Predador com Schwarzenegger com cenas semelhantes. E como todo soldado para vencer uma guerra é necessário atacar e é isso que ele faz, parte para a cidade e começa uma guerra nela. Explodindo a cidade até armar uma arapuca para o xerife, até Trautman intervir e impedi-lo. E termina preso. Realmente um filme muito bem feito e muito agradável de assistir nos dias de hoje. Ótimas atuações dos atores, ótimas fotografia.
Roteiro e enredo perfeitos. Um filme impactante.
Vale apena assistir? Com certeza por fazer parte da estória e sendo o inicio do legado Rambo.

This was a really well made movie. Not because the plot was anything more than basic and certainly not for the godawful soundtrack. But, this is definitely one of Sly's best performances, hands down. The film does a fine job of depicting what it was like for Vietnam vets to return home and not only face so much adversity in a place that's supposed to be their home, but also by way of severe PTSD.

Kind of wild that this ended up spawning as many sequels as it has, considering how it ends. Yes, in fact, it's the final scene that actually makes the movie for me, ultimately recontextualizing the preceding 90 minutes of violence and bloodshed in a newer, more tender light. When push comes to shove (and, yes, I'm being 100% serious here) this whole movie is an allegory for the unease between the American public and those returning home from the Vietnam War. Sure, the filmmaker's use set pieces and gunfire to illustrate the point, but it's eminently clear what's trying to be said here. That's not to dismiss the artfulness of those thrilling scenes, but I do still believe that the heart of this movie lies in its last few moments. What a performance from Stallone here, by the way, whose acting is typically either cited in relation to his appearances as "Rocky Balboa" or the record number of Razzie Awards he's been nominated for/won over the years. Not once have I ever heard any public discourse or praise being levied towards his work at the end of this. Really kind of shocking to me in light of how good it is. In any event, this is an unsurprisingly solid flick — one many of us seem to have missed the point of back in the day.

First & Best of the First Blood/Rambo franchise, great action, not over the top. Covers conserversal topics while telling a great story. One of the best action movies that still holds up today.
