Theatre JournalTheatre Journal is a quarterly, peer-reviewed journal. For over seven decades, Theatre Journal's broad array of scholarly articles and reviews has earned it an international reputation as one of the most authoritative and useful publications of theatre studies available today. Drawing contributions from noted practitioners and scholars, Theatre Journal features book and production reviews, online resources, historical studies, and theoretical inquiries that analyze theatre and performance around the world. Theatre TopicsTheatre Topics is committed to publishing original scholarship written in accessible, well-defined language addressing a wide range of subjects, with an emphasis on articles that reflect the intersection of theory and practice. The journal is published three times a year (March, July, and November). Topics’s readership includes theatre educators, practitioners, and scholars. Subjects of interest include theatre practice (acting, design, directing, dramaturgy, playwriting, etc.), theatre pedagogy, advocacy, and applied theatre. The journal supports four types of publication: peer reviewed articles, notes from the field, book reviews, and online resources.
