This is a great place to stroll, bike, or run along the river. It is well-cared for and felt safe. Clearly the local folks enjoy it, as it was full even mid-day during the week. Be careful if you choose to paddle the river as there is a dangerous dam at one point so watch the signs.

What a cool place! I would say allow 2-3 hours, but if you're in a hurry probably 1 hour would do. We enjoyed the live demonstration with the Barred Owl. They are currently working on saving the California Condor, after having worked diligently and successfully to save the Peregrine Falcon. This is not just a place to visit, this is an organization to support in their bird conservation/rehabilitation efforts.

This is such a beautiful capitol building. We were able to walk right up the steps and walk in and gaze at the dome. Almost strange the lack of visible security, but I am sure someone was watching us somewhere. The white marble columns in the dome are just stunning.

Best park of Boise. Well maintained on Boise river with wide paved pathways, many ponds, flowers, birds chirping. Park & parking both wheel chair accessible. Dogs allowed. Restrooms clean. Biking, fishing, boating and swimming not allowed. Remain open from sunrise to sunset.

We went up for the day. They have skiing, snow tubing, and people watching! We did the last two! We spent 1.5 hours at Goldrush Tubing. It was an absolute blast. We are all over the age of 50 and had as much fun as kids. They have a people mover so you don’t have to walk back up the hill. I even got to give the Golden a ride down, he loved it. It was a great value at $25. We probably got 6 runs in 1.5 hours. They only allow a certain number of tix sold so it doesn’t get too crowded. The owner wants everyone to have a great time!

Nice place to spend an hour or so. Could be better maintained and lacks imagination and creativity. St Louis and Denver botanical garden far superior, no comparison really (and, yes, far bigger cities). Roses, children’s area, and coy pond were my favorites.

Can spend 10 minutes or be contemplative and spend an hour. Worth stopping by when in Boise. Lots of humanity and affirmations of human decency. Well maintained. Nice messaging.

I liked this nature center very much. The water stream is very nicely done. Seeing fish in a natural setting is a delight. Mini Waterfall is well done. Great for kids. Surrounding Municipal park, Boise river and Greenbelt makes a great place to visit.

Boise was beautiful and we enjoyed taking walks in Julia Davis Park and the rose garden. We also walked through the park to Boise State and enjoyed touring that campus. The weather was fantastic and we would go back.

I loved this stadium. We came as the opposing team fans and all the Bronco fans were so nice. It's a great stadium, with lighting effects, fireworks, lots of vendors and food options. The mini doughnuts were amazing! They sell beer too. Bathrooms clean. Easy to get to from downtown hotels. The home side is in the shade for football season.

What a great little spot! It took us maybe 20-30 minutes to walk through, but I am not sure we saw all of it. Felt perfectly safe there. The artwork is all over the map, from poignant and thought-provoking to cutesy and fun. I liked all of the variations. Definitely worth a walk-through!

Great huge park with lots of grassy areas, tables to sit down, and walking paths. It was fun to see how many were outside and about doing so many different activities. We found a food truck location with live music. Great atmosphere!

This is a small zoo. Some of the animals seemed a little lonely, which was a little sad. We went during the week, so it was nice that it wasn't too crowded.

......with a two-year old who had a "class." For that reason, we didn't get a chance to experience the walk up and see the views of the city described in other reviews.

But, at the bottom, there is an impressive array of playground equipment, definitely enough to keep "little ones" entertained.

This is a great little museum! My favorite part was in the basement as you walk down the steps. There is an assortment of random objects from Idahoans - be sure to watch to video/slideshow explanation of what they all are, otherwise you have no idea what it's all about. I enjoyed the upstairs part about wildfires, and the native American artifacts. The museum store is well-curated with so many fun and local items. I found many stocking stuffers here. Definitely worth a trip! I would say allow 2-3 hours.
