Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- spanishrose1952Mijas, Spain157 contributionsThere was so much to see here, different trees, plants and other things. These gardens are well worth a visit but wear comfortable shoes. The car park gets full very quickly but we were able to find street parking a short walk awayWritten 16 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Denise704Mount Holly, NC50 contributionsWe just visited this museum with our two teenage boys. We were worried it may be better for younger kids, but it was GREAT for all ages. It was so big, I think we need a second visit to finish seeing everything, but we really enjoyed our visit. I highly recommend visiting this museum if you are in the area.Written 27 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We did the 10 am tour and then attended the game that evening.
The tour was super informative and interesting, and surprisingly covered lots of areas even being a game day.
My only complaint is that I feel the food options are a little lacking.Written 26 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The exhibit explores the transformative role of contemporary architects, artists, and designers play connecting us to the natural world. Fantastic exhibit well worth your time to visit. One of the features is the new Populus Hotel just down the street from the museum. The exterior of the hotel is almost complete with one of the last exterior panels being placed today.Written 16 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jecca GSan Antonio, TX29 contributionsUnion station is gorgeous but they are doing updates inside. But you can see the beauty. It was timeless and I will definitely come again.Written 17 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- KenOrient, Ohio441 contributionsA great way to spend the day. Reasonable admission and parking is free. (Note that, as per the website, advanced ticketing is required at this time. Morning entry is also restricted during the week at this time to accommodate the volume of school groups.) Pretty big zoo so have your walking shoes primed and ready to hike. Very easy to get around, though, with mostly flat terrain and well maintained walkways.
Staff and volunteers here are very knowledgeable and engaging. I encountered many crew members interacting with guests. Presentations are well done. Elephant training demo was a must and Billy was awesome in his participation...and he loves his broccoli.
There are many cool, uncommon critters here not often seen and they have successful SSP husbandry programs resulting in new blood for the survival of these rarities. Specifically, the Malayan tapir...and Rinny was very active. And the gerenuk, a seldom encountered member of the antelope family.
New baby kudu getting zoomies was a highlight and the playful interactions with Penny, the gerenuk, were unexpected. The elephant facility is impressive and the dynamics of the bachelor herd and it's purpose are an integral part of the SSP. Unfortunately, the bridge in elephant passage wasn't in use because of the necessity for creative arrangement of the occupants so missing that was a bummer since it's unlikely I'll be making a trip to Denver again soon. Mahali getting the zoomies was a surprise and he really wanted to sink his bouy.
There is a carousel, train and 4D theater as well as feeding opportunities for lorikeets and stingrays.
Note that 'Down Under' is still under construction but set to open to the public soon.Written 9 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Cecilia S3 contributions
