Uselessy complicated and disfunctional

It took me months to set it up correctly and to make it work fine. Still when logged into the account during check-in the miles are not automatically loaded onto the account.
What you get in the long run is almost nothing as miles easily expire and you need to have tens of thousands to get anything. One example: 28000 points for a German nationals team jersey (you get around 100-150 for 1 and half hour flight). I do not recommend

I am sorry to give even one star to miles and more

I am sorry to give even one star. My miles and more points were deducted from my booking even thought my credit card payment didn’t go through. So, I have not booked the flight and my miles were still deducted. I see that this is a common problem and it’s very disappointing

Miles deducted, credit card charged, no flight

I tried to book a flight via miles&more miles and cash program. the miles have been deducted from my account and my credit card has been charged however no flight booked. I called miles& more the next day claiming the problem and was promised a fix within 48 hours. cut the long story short, I called them 4 times in 3 weeks to always get a promise of fixing. finally after 3 weeks, I got my miles again so I could try to book the flight again, this time 70% more expensive ! I opened a complaint case with miles&more to which they responded it was the problem of Swiss and not miles&more. Absolutely unacceptable and worst customer experience I can think of. I used to be a proud miles&more frequent flyer member, now I could not care less.

Outrageous

Outrageous! I have spent 5 calls and hours on the web in order to be redeemed for 6 flight legs. An absolute chaos, with NO response at all. Last call, the operator simply hung up after I had waited 30 min. STAY AWAY.

The worst

This is probably BY FAR, the worst customer program there is...
I have an Amex Miles and More and earn quite a big amount of miles...
I already travelled with those miles in the past but it's ALWAYS a big hassle!
You have to call them several times to have things changed about your reservation...
As the booking is done through Miles an More, you can't change it any other way than to call them (even if you're flying with Swiss Air, Lufthansa or any of the other companies that are part of their "umbrella"...).
Everything has to be managed through the phone where calls cost you 1€ for each minutes... and trust me, it takes times as they ask you all the time for the same questions...
and on top of that, when they leave you hanging to "check some things", you can be absolutely sure that the call will be lost and you'll have to call them again and do everything all over again...
What you have to ask FROM THE START is asking them to call back if the call is disconnected... Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't...
It's a luck (for them) that my Amex is affiliated with them and I ean more points that way than having a regular Amex and switch my rewards for miles (at other companies) because, if it was not the case, I would NEVER chose them as a Reward Program...
They truly are the WORST in the business

The most unhelpful of ‘help lines’

The most unhelpful of ‘help lines’ - told to fill out a form to claim points on a 1st class return flight Zurich to Tokyo - but the downloads only permit 3mb for supporting documents hence impossible to send. Awful service.

Haha it’s a scam

Haha it’s a scam. It took me two years and an about 15 flights to work it out…but it’s a scam. They don’t log your miles, you can’t collect them and can’t use them. They basically don’t exist.

Your miles are completely useless

Your miles are completely useless. Essentially don't bother even collecting them.
There are plenty of seat in business, but they will not allow me to upgrade using the miles despite what is advertised on their website. My request is placed on a waiting list which is a scam.
If you want to collect AND USE your miles fly a different airline.

Does Miles and More actually exist?
I was accumulating miles for about 4 months after flying business class around the world, then suddenly I couldn't log into my account.
I sent 4 emails through their customer service site, no reply, tried calling their customer service number 3 times over the course of a week and no one answers.
It has to be a scam, but how do you find out? No one seems to know, even Lufthansa customer care doesn't know!
It needs shutting down.

Saga of lost air miles

I have now lost count of the time spent on the phone trying to reclaim lost airmiles on one leg of a flight from Australia to England in January 2024. Each time I am “interrogated” for numerous reference numbers passwords, pin numbers only to be told my enquiry cannot be processed or my claim requires more information.
In a word “Useless”

Miles and More is a Complete Scam

Miles and More is a complete scam. Do not waste your time trying to credit your account with miles. I have lost count of the number of legitimate journeys made with Swiss or another member airline for which the credit has been refused. They refuse their own scanned boarding cards. On a trip back from Cairo on 18th February 2024 I asked to use points for some refreshments on the plane and they weren't even capable of doing that. I got charged on the backup credit card. This company should be investigated for criminal activity.

Just don't

This program is borderline fraudulent. It's nearly impossible to use your miles for flights. There are a couple of economy flights available, but you don't get to choose the dates. There are plenty of better programs out there, in fact, any other program is better. Additionally, Lufthansa was never good but has gotten worse, and Swiss is a declining airline. Their fleet is old, and the service is constantly declining. Avoid it if you can.

The changes to the LH miles and more…

The changes to the LH miles and more fqtv programme are horrific. Contacts are restricted to phone calls and no other way of communicating is possible. That means that you will have no written record of any complaint. Beyond that, I have not been credited for the full status amount of my loyality to this Airline Group. If you are considering joining this frequent flyer programme, please be forewarned. Customer servicce is zero. I repeat zero.

I joined this program a year ago…

I joined this program a year ago through Star Alliance.
After taking about 6 flights business class I was awarded the miles etc, no problem, but then 2 months later when I was due to take another 3 flights on partner airlines I tried to log into my account but was told I couldn't access and had to contact miles and more.
I tried to call them but no answer, i filled out the on line form twice in 3 weeks but no reply.
Absolutely abysmal set up, they should just be closed down as they practically do not exist, I think they are just a 'shell' company or a scam.

Miles and More is not a team

I have been a top tier M&M member for several years, along with Air points with Air New Zealand. I have used the Swiss Global Fare tickets out of Australia and have been satisfied with the service until this year. All of the segments have been Star Alliance carriers, now I must pay QANTAS to connect me from/to Sydney and the US. Why would Lufthansa Group/Miles and More not use another Star Alliance carrier for the AU-US segment? Under the new, 2024 M&M rules, the segments connecting AU with Lufthansa carriers in Asia/US will not count for Status Points. Also, the Lufthansa Group is not part of the Star Alliance credit card sceme in Australia. It is like Swiss and Miles and More have written off Australia.

Disastrous Experience: Miles & More and Lufthansa

My frequent flying experience with Lufthansa and their Miles & More program has been nothing short of a nightmare. Firstly, let's address the abysmal customer service, which seems to be a staple of German companies. Dealing with them is akin to pulling teeth, except less pleasant.

But let's get to the real issue here: the complete lack of synchronization between their booking apps and the Miles & More app. It's like they're from different planets! Why do I have to input my information repeatedly, jumping through hoops just to access basic services? It's a never-ending loop of frustration and wasted time.

I've reached my breaking point. I've had it with German companies and their ineptitude. It's time to explore alternatives because dealing with Lufthansa and Miles & More is simply not worth the headache anymore. Save yourself the trouble and fly with someone else.

Their is no service, stay away

Miles&More added my ticket before my flight and put it down the right date and wrong year. When I contacted them, they realized their mistake and refused to correct it. I contacted them again but a not nice and not gentleman kept saying that I have to contact Air Austria and that is not their problem. Worse service ever!

4 Months of waiting

My account was hacked, and now 4 months later I have to call every week to see if there is any update cause they blocked it for security reasons.

I still dont have access to anything, I really just want to cancel my card and redeem my miles and forget this nightmare.

Seriously. So many months just to give me access to my stuff.

Crap user experience, crap support

I don't know if the program itself is any good. Because the App and the website which is the front-end is totally rubbish.
I cannot log-in to my account with my associated e-mail address. ("Technical error" very informative message).
This happens on both the web and with the app. Tried all web browsers, both PC and Phone.
Trying to contact Miles and more via their contact form is also impossible I just get re-directed back to the FAQ instead of being able to submit a bug report or a question.
Finally I got a hold of a support operator that told me I need to log-in using the number on my frequent clyer card. I told her that the Log-In UI states that I can use "email address". She hung up.

I have absolutely nothing positive to say about this bonus program.
2024: Who even keeps track of a bonus card?! E-mail address should be sufficient for log-in purposes. It works in ALL other web services. Using the "Security" argument for a bonus program sounds far fetched.

Improvement suggestions:
1. Provide a technically working platform for this service.
2. Provide tech support staff with decent manners.

Worst Alliance ever

You are collecting miles years over years and when you have enough miles then you are not able to spend on flights you prefer.
You cannot select the dates and routes that you want. You can only book what Lufthansa dictates. No flexibility from the Alliance no support from team at all.
Worst experience ever.
As soon as I spend all my miles I will leave this alliance and also avoid booking flights with Lufthansa and their daughter companies.
