- BlmhoustonTuscaloosa, AL787 contributionsExcellent zoo that is clean, well maintained with seemingly healthy animals in gorgeous surroundings. We spent about 4 hours including a stop for coffee walking the zoo and saw all of it. $33,000 per adult.Written January 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - shira3 contributionsHIDDEN OASIS! I was surprised at how little locals know about this place, given its only 1 hour away from Cali. I went with my family and we loved every minute. The price includes a nights sleep (you have different themed rooms) , Colombian breakfast & the hike to the waterfalls. After the hike, you can have lunch / lay in the beautiful yard they decorated and relax. The view is epic from every corner, and the yard has swings / places they setup to lay your head and take in the view of the mountains.
* warning- if your a tourist, your probably not getting any wifi unless your in the front desk area. Food : Be ready to eat what they have to offer. You can reach out for a menu , but you are in a secluded place so if you have allergies/ picky on food, prep in advance. Our room had a fridge so we packed snacks for my kid. Highly recommend this place ! Super close to Cali.Written January 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Makes a lovely stroll and you are shaded from the sun under the trees. I went twice. Nicer on a weekend afternoon when it was busy, had a cool atmosphere with some handicraft stalls too. The second time I went on a Tuesday afternoon, it was quiet and it felt isolated. There is a story behind each cat, but information boards are in Spanish. I had a guide with me the second time I went so it was very interesting when he explained this to me. Otherwise you will just look at cat statues!Written August 22, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Abovetheclouds2,063 contributionsVery simple. White walls and felt ancient but well kept. Small. There was a wedding going on when we went so this was nice to see. We went in the day and you also get a good view of Cali. The climb is easy, more the heat so take water.Written August 20, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Luis Eduardo Peña2 contributionsIs an absolute must. Tucked away in its cozy space are original cinema artifacts dating back to the 1900s and beyond. From the early days of film to the groundbreaking camera inventions, and even some of the largest cameras in the world (yes, they still exist!). It's fascinating to see how everything still works, I recently caught an old short film there, and let me tell you, it really made me feel like I was transported back in time. It's not just a museum; it's a journey through the history of cinema. And here's a thought – by supporting places like this, we're not just preserving history, but also ensuring that future generations get to experience it too. So, why not pay them a visit? Let's help keep this unique knowledge alive and thriving, not just here in Colombia, but all across South America.Written March 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Inside is simple and nice. There was some sort of ceremony going on when we went.Written August 22, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
