Product description

Dabangg 2 (2012) is the sequel to Dabangg, and has been produced and directed by Arbaaz Khan. This action-comedy which is set in Kanpur stars Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha. The film was declared a blockbuster at the box office.

The story starts off from where it had left in the previous movie, and it is seen that Chulbul Pandey (Salman Khan) is still in charge of the police station at Kanpur. He lives with his wife, Rajjo (Sonakshi Sinha), stepfather (Vinod Khanna), and brother, Makkhi (Arbaaz Khan). The movie portrays Chulbul Pandey as a just and able policeman who is a nightmare for wrong doers. When a young boy is abducted, Chulbul Pandey solves the case. When an assassin kills the witness who was to testify against him, the policeman hunts him down while he is at a coffeehouse. The villain in the movie is Bachcha, played by Prakash Raj, a policeman struggling to get to the top who is jealous of Chulbul Pandey’s success. Bachcha, also a criminal himself, and his brother, Genda, want to get rid of Chulbul Pandey as he was always busting their criminal activities.

On one occasion, Genda arrives at a wedding and harasses the bride in a bid to kidnap her. Chulbul Pandey arrives at the scene and asks Genda to leave politely, but when he refuses Chulbul does something drastic. This puts Chulbul’s family at risk, because Bachcha is now out to take revenge. Meanwhile, Rajjo becomes pregnant and Chulbul Pandey is advised by all to stop interfering in Bachcha’s doings if only for his family’s sake. Twist after twist unfolds in this action-packed Arbaaz Khan film to culminate in an unpredictable ending.

The film has numerous popular songs which became instant hits, such as, Dagabaaz Re and Fevicol Se. Dabangg 2 has been rated U/A (Parental Guidance), and is available in Blu-ray format. It has been released by Eros with a total runtime of 129 minutes.
