This really makes me think Kurt Cobain wrote most of Hole's music.

There was a lot riding on this album, as it was to be Courtney Love's opus after disbanding her extremely popular group, Hole. Unfortunately due to her drug addiction and her record label forcing her to finish the album between stints in rehab, its a half-hearted mess with only a handful of good tracks. Listen to: Mono, Uncool, Sunset Strip, Julian I'm a Little Bit Older Than You.

This album had quite a few really solid songs on it, it isn't a bad album by any means, but you can tell there was issues with it and it is somewhat messy. I don't find the messiness of this album to be a really bad thing, it adds to the style/sound of it, it's Courtney Love. This album did have a lot of potential to be a lot better than it was, if there wasn't so many issues and Courtney wasn't in and out of rehab this could've been perfect, but still, it turned out pretty alright.
