The Sacramento City College Vocational Nursing Program is approved by the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians.

The program is a three semester, 53 unit program which prepares a student to be eligible to apply for the National Licensing Examination to be licensed as a Vocational Nurse.

Clinicals are offred by hospitals in the area.

Admission Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Completion of pre-requisite courses with the required grades
3. Submit to criminal background check, health evaluation, immunizations and drug screening
4. Current  CPR certification
