Hotel reviews are always interesting to read. Some customers expect Marriott quality service at a knock off price. By local (Jersey City and Manhattan) standards, Ramada by Wyndham is very good value. The room was big, spacious, clean and quiet, it is only 5 mins walk from the PATH and whilst the breakfast was basic, it is a cheap hotel so I didn't expect anything better. If you wanna stay close to Manhattan but can't afford to stay in Manhattan, this is ideal.

Coming from Europe we went to NU Hotel for 10 nights in January 2024. Everything was perfect : very friendly staff, nice and clean room, breakfast ! The hotel situation allows you to be very close from public transports and you can easily find some nice bars and restaurants around the hotel. The NU hotel is really the best option if you want to stay outside and close to Manhattan for a decent price. The staff were so kind with us we really appreciated

I didn't expect such a high quality and comfort of the room! For the same price and the same number of nights, in Manhattan we had a tiny place, but here in Henry Norman Hotel there was a spacious room, with super clean bathroom, perfectly working AC, 2 TVs, refrigerator, coffeemaker, tea kettle (!), a lot of coffee and tea for free. The sheets were so clean, you can feel it right away. The location is far from center, but quiet and pleasant.

Parking facilites easily accessible from hotel with dedicated guest parking. Rose at the reception was so nice & very helpful in suggesting restaurants & other services we were looking for nearby. Hotel arranged for a driver to bring us into Manhattan to see a Broadway show & return pick up! Breakfast at in-house café had limited selection but was good. Lobby lounge with fireplace was nice & cozy.

Hotel is close to 2 subway stations, very easy for transportation to and from Manhattan. Felt safe on the street - NYPD nearby. Super nice hotel receptionists. We loved the hot breakfast option each morning - potato pancakes, omelette, croquettes - also changed on different days. Big bathroom and air temperature controller in the room - was very handy. Loved the space under beds to where to put our luggage away.

The position of the Hotel is Top! View to Manhattan skyline and few min walk to the metro that brings you to Manhattan in few stops e.g. Rockfeller Center, Bryant Park, Time Square are 3-4 stops. I went everywhere and it was perfect. Staff is welcoming and there is a bar and common area where you can spend some time. I was also luckier with roommates, I stayed 8nights and no problem with anyone.

Great location, only a 30 minute walk from Brick Church train station and from there only 40 min right into Manhattan. Owner was very helpful with direction and wifi. Wifi was nice and quick too. Apartment is nice and big with loads of room. Bed was super comfy. Excellent quality TV's with movies on demand. Apartment for the most part is very quiet apart from an instance I pointed out below.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the upper west side, walking distance from the Central Park and the museum of natural history. The hotel has a great ambiance, with cafe Patis Bakery which is kosher and offers freshly baked pastries and breads and delicious artisanal coffee. The cafe transforms into a bar in the evening. Great option to stay in Manhattan.

The Hotel is in a beautiful area of Jersey City, right next to the train linking you to Wall street and Manhattan within few minutes. The views of the south of Manhattan are spectacular and you are also minutes away from a big park with great views of Ellis Island and the statue of Liberty. The rooms and bathrooms were very spacious. Breakfast is good but extremely busy.

Hotel was clean and well kept. Room was clean and daily taken care of by the staff. Bathroom was clean. Sheets and pillows were clean. No odors. Ice machine was accessible. Mini fridge was clean. TV had many options and free wifi was pretty good. Nj transit bus stop is right across the road which was very convenient to get to NYand return. 20 minutes ride to Manhattan.

The Pearl Hotel has an awesome location, within walking distance to most of the Mid-town Manhattan sites. It was close to restaurants and also a cute little Italian bakery/cafe. The area was safe to walk around in and the parking garage was not too far from the hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. I would love to go back and stay at the Pearl Hotel.

The view is what you are here for! Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Location is convenient with a quick train ride to lower Manhattan or fun boat rides to its other parts. Jersey City was nice too! The room was clean. Bed was comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. We enjoyed our breakfast which was way better and varied than most US hotels.

Hotel is only 15 min distance by foot from PATH station (newpoert) to New York and 20 minutes to PAth hoboken. Target Supermarket is 5 minutes away. Good view from Path Hoboken to Skyline New York/Manhattan. Laundry facilities were there. Breakfast was good, included also youghurt, waffles, Muesli, Toast, eggs and sausages/bacon

The Hotel is new and the equipment is new and fresh. A bus stop to Manhattan is nearly in front of the hotel. Half an hour drive to Downtown near ferry terminal. The staff is very very friendly and helpful. You can have Tea and Coffee the whole day. Breakfast I have not used. Nearby you find dinner location for a quick or comfortable Dinner.

Cleanliness of the newly renovated hotel was foremost. Breakfast was excellent. Hotel was amazingly close to Southwest Airlines’s part of the LGA terminals. Good connections with the rest of Queens and Manhattan by Lyft is a plus. Also 16-min. walk to the N and W train is a plus when it is not raining. FDNY and NYPD are close.

Convenient to subway so easy access to Manhattan and other parts of Brooklyn. Huge bonus with free parking. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Facility was generally clean. Rooms were fine, beds comfy. Appreciated fridge and microwave! Bathroom had updated fixtures, shower was very nice! Our room had decent view of the city.

The Asiatic Hotel is located in the heart of Queens, having direct subway connection to Manhattan. This is a safe neighborhood and there are always people on the street even at night. Very clean with very comfortable beds. For the NYC prices, it is a good value for money and a recommended place to stay while visiting the city.

The location is excellent if you want an affordable hotel that offers metro connection to Manhattan in 1 ride of about 10-15 min. Hotel is close to a metro station an in a relatively quiet and safe neighborhood. There are a lot of nice restaurants within walking range of the hotel. Rooms very clean and staff very friendly

much cheaper than staying in Manhattan - take the light rail in front of NJPAC to Newark Penn Station then Path Train or NJ Transit can also take NJ Transit from Manhattan to Broad Street them Newark Light rail to NJPAC and walk 3 blocks Hotel is 0.4 moles from Newark Penn Station and 3 blocks from NJPAC

Great location. Easy walk to Herald Square. One block in different directions to 2 subway lines that can get you anywhere in Manhattan. Having a kitchen was very handy, especially with a full size refrigerator. We didn’t need to use it, but having a washing machine is a rare amenity in a hotel room.
