Bio

Atom Ellis is the Developer Relations Manager for Analog Devices’ Audio Rendering Technology. His experience includes nine years in video game development, including testing, producing, level design, 3-D design, sound design, music composition, and photo/video content production. He is credited on dozens of titles from companies including Sega of America, SCEA, Atari, GT Interactive, Epic, n-Space, Avalon Interactive, Walt Disney Computer Software, Novatrade, BlueSky Software, Headgames, Realtime Associates, Treasure, and Hammond and Leyland.

Atom’s musical compositions have also been licensed and used in television and movie soundtracks including Disney’s Gun in Betty Lou’s Handbag, MTV’s MTV Sports, and the E Network’s Anna Nicole Show.

As a singer and bass player, Atom has also recorded for a wide range of major and independent record labels, including Atlantic, Sony, Capitol, Amarillo, and Beck’s first label, Bongload Records. He has been a member of, toured with, and recorded for artists including Psychefunkapus, Dieselhed, the Pop-o-Pies, Richard Thompson, Link Wray, Virgil Shaw, Linda Perry, Carl Hancock Rux, and Chuck Prophet. He has also appeared with Link Wray on CBS’s Late Night with Conan O’Brien.
