    Be prepared to walk.....a lot!
It`s not really possible to sum up the strip in one review. 3 or 4 miles of huge casino resorts, free shows such as the Bellagio fountains & mirage volcano, (be quick, it `s going this year, cafe`s, bars, shops, etc are what`s on offer. Everywhere is further away than it looks, It can take 10 minutes to walk past just one of the big resorts. Wear comfortable shoes & clothes and stop off for drinks along the way, and if you decide to explore any of the big hotels, allow at least an hour for each. We enjoy picking a street-side cafe or bar and people-watching for a while before heading off to explore further.

    Amazing Experience
Las Vegas is for everyone even if your not a gambler, we walked from hotel to hotel just enjoying the experience and air conditioning. Felt very safe all the time day and night. Make sure you check the times to see the fountains erupt at the Bellagio and the Volcano at the Mirage- amazing and not over crowded. Use Walgreens and CVS for cheaper drinks to take to take in your room than hotel prices, seems to be a thing that wandering around drinking is quite popular for all ages. Use the Deuce bus to Hop on and off, better to by a 3 day pass rather 24 hr pass. Do compare Uber prices to local taxi's as did not seem to be same charges as UK so not always cheaper. Be prepared to tip but we had amazing service everywhere so well worth it. There is a free tram from Mandela Bay to save a few foot steps if walking down to the Las Vegas Sign.

A lot to explore along the Strip, but do it at night!
Fun to walk or drive up and down the Strip, but walking should be during the evening time in July. Otherwise, it is so hot! It got to 107 degrees when we were there in mid-July. It is also nice to see it all lit up in the dark. Free parking is offered by only few hotels. The rest seem to have free parking for 1 hr. The hotels we parked at for free were Treasure Island, Venetian and Rio. The Strip is huge though.

    Tour the Strip!!!!
When visiting Vegas the strip is a must! But not in heels!!!!! It's long and fun! The lights are gorgeous, the smells are ones you will never forget! And summer is monsoon season so pack an umbrella. We got caught in a severe thunderstorm and got soaked. But it made for great memories! The whole trip made for great memories!!!! And don't come on a tight budget. A 7 day all inclusive trip to Vegas for 2 or more people will cost around 5 grand. It was a once in a lifetime trip for me and unforgettable. I will reminisce on this trip for the rest of my life!!!

    Quintessential Las Vegas
The entire 4-mile Strip on Las Vegas Boulevard is completely lined with upscale Hotels and Casinos. The bright neon lighting can be quite blinding at night. But other than Casinos, the Hotels are also Resorts and Venues for Live Performances – many of which sell out months ahead. The architecture everywhere is modern and contemporary, and each Hotel is a unique landmark with mini versions of world-famous places replicated accurately to the minutest detail. Each and every hotel that you visit is worth the time that you spend exploring it. During our several visits in the last few decades, we have traversed this Strip – from The Stratosphere on one end to the Mandalay Bay on the other. We have walked, taken the Tour Bus, and taken Uber to visit several venues. An absolute “Must Visit” – at least once in your lifetime.

    Fun times in Vegas
We had an absolute blast on the strip. It gets a bad reputation because of the hustle and bustle and people trying to hand you stuff, but honestly, you just gotta have thick skin. I kept walking to avoid getting handed anything and always told the Flamingo girls no thank you for a picture. Don't take a picture with them unless you are ready to shell out about $100 for each girl. Seriously! We were heckled a few times, but I don't really care what people say to me or think about me, so I just kept it moving. If you take everything with a grain of salt, you will have an amazing time on the strip!

    Please don't bring kids
#1 leave the kids at home. Take them to Disneyland. There was once a time many years ago that Vegas really welcomed kids, but that came and went. It is annoying to have kids on the strip or at pools where adults are scantily clad, drunk and talk like truckers. Adults want to cut loose and not worry that their actions will be seen by children.

    Sensational
Absolutely wonderful, so many sights, sounds and spectacles. Despite being busy and a tourist hotspot I felt remarkably safe while here. Even when bucketing it down with rain it's a great place to be.

    Viva Las Vegas
Viva Las Vegas! The people were really friendly and the strip has so much to offer, as does vegas. You may need a map to get out of hotels. Make sure you have enough time as we were so busy. Helicopter ride down the strip, Grand Canyon, zip line in Fremont street. Mj show was incredible. Please go to vegas.

    LOVED IT
This was our first time to Vegas and we loved it. All the glitz and glamour was well worth the cost. We loved all the bright lights and stunning views at night. We found the strip very clean and any restrooms we used along the way were spotless as well. We were never annoyed by the entertainment along the strip, although some of it could be very loud which really wasn't necessary. No one bothered us. If asked "would you like a picture with me" a no thank you was enough for them to continue on their way. All stores and restaurants along the strip we visited were great. All attractions we did on the strip were well worth the money. All the freebies we saw were perfection. All the employees we encountered on the strip in different establishments were all very kind and very nice to us. They were always helpful. Hotels are definitely far apart and lots and lots of walking is necessary to get from point A to B. They really spared no expense when building all the hotels along the strip. Each one impressed us in many different ways. The Grand Bazaar in front of the Horseshoe Hotel is very seedy and really does not fit on the Vegas strip. We found the alley ways dirty and lots of unsavory people walking in there. This is the only place we as a couple felt uncomfortable along the strip. We noticed a fair amount of restaurant and bar construction going on along the strip as well. Shows that Vegas is thriving as a world class tourist destination. We never encountered any broken escalators inside or outside. Everything was in good working order and as I mentioned before clean. We did use taxis a few times during our stay and we found the cab drivers very unfriendly. They were very cold and sometimes even rude. All taxis were clean and air conditioned. The drivers just need a lesson in how to interact with tourists since they work in such a world class tourist spot. We always wanted to see Vegas and we can now tick it off our bucket list. We loved our trip and we made lots of great memories. Would we go back? We would in a heartbeat. We highly recommend seeing Vegas at least once in a lifetime.
