Jennifer Garner (Sydney Bristow)

After building up her career with roles in Significant Others, Washington Square (1997), Mr. Magoo (1997), Dude, Where's My Car? (2000), Pearl Harbor (2001), and on the TV show Time of Your Life, Jennifer Garner joined Alias as Sydney Bristow.

During her Emmy-nominated five-year run as the lead spy, Garner also appeared in Catch Me If You Can (2002), Daredevil (2003), 13 Going on 30 (2004), and Elektra (2005).

Following Alias' finale, Garner focused on her big-screen work, racking up gigs in Catch and Release (2006), The Kingdom (2007), Juno (2007), Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009), The Invention of Lying (2009), Valentine's Day (2010), and Arthur (2011).

Garner has also landed roles in Butter (2011), The Odd Life of Timothy Green (2012), Dallas Buyers Club (2013), Draft Day (2014), Danny Collins (2015), Miracles From Heaven (2016), Love, Simon (2018), and The Adam Project (2022).

Garner is the mother to three children with former husband Ben Affleck.

Michael Vartan (Michael Vaughn)

Michael Vartan signed on to play Michael Vaughn on Alias, Sydney's CIA agent love interest, after picking up prior credits for The Pallbearer (1996), Dead Man's Curve (1998), Never Been Kissed (1999), and The Next Best Thing (2000).

In the midst of his run on the show, Vartan starred alongside Jennifer Lopez and Jane Fonda in 2005's Monster-in-Law.

He later went on to appear in Rogue (2007), Colombiana (2011), and on the TV series Hawthorne, Bates Motel, The Arrangement, and God Friended Me.

Victor Garber (Jack Bristow)

Victor Garber found his spot on Alias as Sydney's father, Jack Bristow.

The Godspell alum followed up his five-year, Emmy-nominated gig as the agent with turns on Justice, Eli Stone, Flashpoint, and the Charlie's Angels reboot.

Garber has also appeared in numerous films, including Milk (2008), You Again (2010), the Oscar-winning Argo, Sicario (2015), Dark Waters (2019), and Happiest Season (2020), and returned to the small screen on Damages, Deception, Motive, Power, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, The Orville, and Family Law.

Ron Rifkin (Arvin Sloane)

Alias recruited veteran actor Ron Rifkin to play the villainous Arvin Sloane.

The L.A. Confidential star, who also appeared on ER, One Day at a Time, and The Trials of Rosie O'Neill, followed up his dark turn on Alias with roles on Brothers & Sisters, Peep World, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Limitless, and New Amsterdam.

Rifkin has also popped up in films like The Sum of All Fears (2002), The Words (2012), A Star Is Born (2018), and Funny Pages (2022).

Carl Lumbly (Marcus Dixon)

Cagney & Lacey star Carl Lumbly had a busy few years in the early-2000s. The same year that he signed on for an extended stint on Justice League as the voice of J'onn J'onzz/Martian Manhunter, he made his debut as Alias' Marcus Dixon.

Lumbly played Sydney's colleague for five years, going on to earn credits for The Alphabet Killer (2008), Southland, The Returned, Zoo, Supergirl, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and This Is Us.

Kevin Weisman (Marshall Flinkman)

After popping up in episodes of Just Shoot Me!, ER, Roswell, Felicity, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Kevin Weisman signed on to play techie Marshall Flinkman on Alias.

He remained on the small screen soon after the show's wrap on Moonlight, later appearing in Flipped (2010), The Trust (2016), and episodes of October Road, CSI: NY, Fringe, Awake, Hello Ladies, Scorpion, The Blacklist, Goliath, and Runaways.

After wrapping his run as Felicity's Sean Blumberg, Greg Grunberg spent five years playing Eric Weiss on Alias.

The actor earned subsequent credits for Mission: Impossible III (2006), Star Trek (2009), Heroes, Super 8 (2011), Big Ass Spider (2013), The Client List, Masters of Sex, Heroes Reborn, A Star Is Born, and The Fabelmans (2022).

Early in his career, David Anders joined Alias as Julian Sark.

The then-rising star continued from there, picking up gigs on Deadwood, Grey's Anatomy, Heroes, 24, Necessary Roughness, The Vampire Diaries, iZombie, Once Upon a Time, and Magnum P.I.

Merrin Dungey (Francie Calfo/Allison Doren)

Merrin Dungey appeared on Alias as Francie Calfo and lookalike Allison Doren.

During the five years she spent in the dual role, Dungey also added to her résumé with small-screen turns on Malcolm in the Middle and Summerland.

After playing the two Alias characters, Dungey wrapped her eight-year run as The King of Queens' Kelly Palmer, and went on to appear in episodes of Better Off Ted, Revenge, Hollywood Heights, Once Upon a Time, Chasing Life, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Resident, Big Little Lies, and Shining Vale.

Bradley Cooper (Will Tippin)

After landing early work on Sex and the City and The $treet, and in the film Wet Hot American Summer (2000), Bradley Cooper picked up one of his first major roles thanks to Alias. The future star played reporter Will Tippin for five years, also popping up on Touching Evil, Jack & Bobby, and Kitchen Confidential, and in the films Wedding Crashers (2005) and Failure to Launch (2006) during that time.

After Alias, Cooper expanded his résumé with The Rocker (2008), Yes Man (2008), He's Just Not That Into You (2009), the Hangover movies, Valentine's Day (2010), The A-Team (2010), Limitless (2011), and the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, in which he voices Rocket.

He earned critical acclaim and commercial success in subsequent years, starring in Silver Linings Playbook (2012), American Hustle (2013), American Sniper (2014), and A Star Is Born, earning Oscar nominations for all four films.

Cooper has also turned to directing features, helming A Star Is Born and the Leonard Bernstein biopic Maestro (2023).
