Cady Lang TIME Magazine ...a family's scandalous rise to power and riches... May 20, 2024 Full Review Matthew Gilbert Boston Globe It drips with attitude, wit, and archness, which can sometimes work -- see “The Great” -- but fails to provide enough character and narrative to back it all up. It doesn’t build so much as tread water. Apr 9, 2024 Full Review Brian Lowry CNN.com Imbued with a historical kick, the new Starz limited series boasts juicy performances from Julianne Moore and Nicholas Galitzine and a level of debauchery that makes Bridgerton look like a Sunday-school romp. Apr 5, 2024 Full Review Stephanie Morgan Common Sense Media Mary & George's modern score and lavish sets provide a rich backdrop to the sinister plot. May 15, 2024 Full Review Brian Bromberger Bay Area Reporter This thrilling British history raises carnal intrigue and scheming within a monarchy to new heights of audacity and salaciousness. Apr 10, 2024 Full Review Rebecca Cook Digital Spy The sex of Mary & George, much like the characters themselves, revolves around the pursuit of power, as opposed to sugary romance or sheer titillation. So perhaps think more Game of Thrones than Bridgerton when wading in. Rated: 4/5 Apr 10, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Frank L The great Julianne Moore is wasted in this melodrama, stretched out in multiple episodes when a 90 minute telling would be enough. And lazy screen-writing in which every character, noble or peasant peppers speech with the F-word, every sentence, is beyond believable. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/11/24 Full Review Stephen s if you want a show that only throws sex at you and has nothing else to offer go watch porn this is not it. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/06/24 Full Review Royal B Was looking forward to this show. Disappointed. Too much with the orgies and other debauchery. I dont mind some sex and nudity, but this is too much. Feel like I am watching disgusting porn. I don't see how that much was necessary to the story. The acting is great, but the show is boring...too much off story sex and other distractions. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/03/24 Full Review Elin F The acting was incredible! The story itself was not enough captivating and I was mostly bored. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 05/02/24 Full Review Tim C Very well done! I cant wait for the release of each episode Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/30/24 Full Review Richard Y Julianne Moore is great but the guy can't act for shits Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/27/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
