Sarah Stouffer (born July 26, 1986 in Contra Costa County, California) is a movie actress. She is known for Bloomington (2010), Switched at Birth (2011) and A Cinderella Christmas (2016).[3]
Career
Before her 2010 role in Bloomington, Stouffer was featured in the show Slacker P.I.
In Bloomington, Stouffer plays Jackie, a former Child actor whom, while venturing out on her own at college and attempting to adapt to everyday student life, falls for Allison McAtee‘s Catherine, a fierce professor with a reputation for having affairs with her students.[14] Sarah heard about a role from her agent:
I heard about the audition from my agent, at the time, and went to read for it just like any other role.
Jackie was a really “meaty” role.
I was lucky to have been offered the part.[15]
When asked what first attracted her to the film, Sarah said:
I felt that I could really relate to Jackie.
She was at a pivotal moment in her life where she was figuring out who she was and what she wanted out of her life.
I think everyone goes through something similar and it’s nice to be able to relate to that.[15]
She later landed a recurring role in Switched at Birth as Tess Ritter in 2015.[1]
She has been a guest star on shows such as Criminal Minds, Bones, Betas, The New Normal and Workaholics.[1]
