This event was $18/adult, and was a really nice walk through beautifully designed holiday light displays. Advance reservation required. Hot beverages, adult beverages, snacks and s'mores kits available!

Great place to walk around and enjoy gardens. They have several trails and a couple ponds with Koi. During the spring and summer this place is so beautiful with all the flowers and trees. The current holiday light show is worth seeing!

First visit for my wife and I. We had no idea the park was as large or as pretty as it is. A particular surprise was the Korean memorial bell garden within the park. We will be back to see it later in the season to see all the flowers in bloom.

I reluctantly went by myself on a slightly rainy morning. The admission for seniors is only $3.00. Not many people were there, which made it very nice. I noticed as the morning wore on, that a number of mom's with strollers came. It would be a great place to walk with the kids. I loved all the trees in bloom, though I didn't see everything. If I lived nearby, I would surely have a membership, if available. It was very peaceful.

Meadowlark Botanical Garden is big, beautiful, and full of life (numerous bird species, fish, frogs, at least two kinds of turtles, insects, and of course countless plant species). We spent a few hours here and felt like we could have spent the whole day. We definitely plan to go back.
In addition to the meandering walking paths, there are heaps of benches and comfy chairs on/in which to sit and enjoy the surrounding beauty.
At $6 for adults, the value is great. Very family friendly, picnic friendly, couples friendly, great if you're on your own...it's nice for just about everyone, I reckon.

Amazing place to walk and see a huge variety of flowers, plants and trees. Even in mid- October it is beautiful. This would be a great place to bring the kids on a warm day and let them run around the grassy areas.

I love taking friends to Meadowlark Garden for their first time. They're always amazed that such a beautiful spot exists so close to Washington, DC. When my son was little we would head over there so he could run around, watch the turtles in the pond and enjoy being outdoors.

Absolutely terrible corrupt place. My mom paid thousands of dollars to have my deceased grandparents names on 2 benches in the rose garden. Evil money hungry NOVA parks ripped off the plaques of my grandparents that have been there since 1990! They lied about why they ripped them off, because they want to sell for more ‘donations’. Our family has donated so much money to this money laundering place. This is not only morally corrupt, but may be illegal since there was nothing in the contract that said they could take our benches away after a certain period of time. They lie and hide and are only looking for donations. Go somewhere else to see some average looking plants.

The gardens are beautiful, but if you ever want to take pictures there, be prepared!!!! There is NO inclement weather policy, and after paying $362 for 2 hours of the ability to take photos in their garden, when it decided to snow, we were kicked out of their Atrium after 45 minutes!!!! There was apparently a wedding to take place later that day and they needed to set up early for it. No one cared that we had paid for 2 hours, and that we had 2 kids under 5 years old and that it was under 32 degrees out, and snowing, they still rudely asked us to leave. We had originally reserved a slot to take pictures from 10 am to 12 pm to take pictures in their Atrium, which was supposed to open at 10:00, but the person who had the keys to open the Atrium lives in Leesburg and didn't even arrive until 10:45, so the COOK was nice enough to let us in to get changed. The one bathroom we found that was open was filthy!!! We were able to get changed there, but had a heck of a time turning on any of the lights in order to take pictures in the atrium since the sun wasn't out and (again) it was snowing. After we were asked to leave by the staff setting up for the wedding, we expressed our concerns to the staff member on duty at the Atrium who just argued with us about why nothing was guarenteed and why we didn't know that when we agreed to pay the $362 originally!!!! In summary, the staff was 45 minutes late for our 10:00 shoot time, the facility was filthy, we were out $362, the staff was extremley rude, we were asked to leave an hour before our time was up, they refused to admit there was a problem and argued with us!!! It's a great place to visit, but I will NEVER give another dime to this facility!!!!!!!!

Been living in Vienna for several years and joined Meadowlark in 2012. My husband and I are walkers and love walking in gardens with natural flora and spectacular plantings. Generally, we find the garden to be pristine with very few people walking the grounds.
From November through December the grounds are decorated with thousands of lights, making it a mystical, magical winter wonderland.
Great place to enjoy nature and get exercise with friends and family!

Would a person on a walker be able to get around?
Are there concrete walkways or mulch/dirt walkways

I don't remember very well. Some parts could be good for walker and some others no. The best way I suggest is to call and see how is ast the moment as things change and a person with a walker needs some planning. I have a husband with Parkinson and before he had strokes we had to call the place ahead of time to make sure walkers were suitable at that moment. Apologies for not being able to help that much at the moment

From March through November there is an entrance fee of $5.00 (ages 18 to 54) and $2.50 (ages 7 to 17 and 55+). This answer is true.....

Is my Atlanta Botanical Garden membership reciprocal with Meadowlark Gardens?
Thank you!

You'll have to contact the Garden itself. I do not know what reciprocity they honor.
How is the garden during mid January?
