Napoleon Lucien Charles Murat (16 May 1803-10 April 1878) was a French politician and nobleman who held the title of Prince of Pontecorvo from 1812 to 1815 and Prince Murat from 1847 to 1878.

Napoleon Lucien Charles Murat was the second son of Joachim Murat and Caroline Bonaparte, and he was made Prince of Pontecorvo by his uncle, Napoleon I, in 1812. He had to flee Italy after his father's execution in 1815, and he was educated in the Austrian Empire from 1815 to 1822. In April 1825, he emigrated to the United States, meeting his uncle Joseph Bonaparte in Philadelphia. He married an American woman and settled in Bordentown, New Jersey, and he returned to France in 1848, becoming a member of the constituent assembly, Minister for Turin in 1849, and a senator and prince in 1852. In 1861, he failed to regain the throne of Naples, and he was imprisoned by the Prussians during the 1870 Siege of Metz. He briefly returned to the USA before dying in Paris in 1878.
