Flexible and Easy but not reliable for stable income

Overall you control your schedule but they expect you to keep a certain amount of hours open for clients even if they are not scheduling appointments and even though they will not pay you if no one schedules which means having to leave your calendar open for time that you won't get paid for. They want me to keep 10 spots open even though I literally have maybe 2 or 3 people actually scheduling regularly currently. I started off with a lot of referrals in January and now I barely get any. My next check will be about $60 for the week so this is not income that you can rely on. If I had more referrals, and the pay was a little higher, I would probably have no complaints because I like everything else.
Pros
You make your own schedule, no co-workers or boss, not demanding, get paid every week
Cons
pay is low, referrals can slow way down or stop at anytime, only took about 2 months for me

Pros:--Lots of referrals--Flexibility of scheduling--Easy platform to navigateCons:--Very low pay--No benefits--Isolating, lack of collaboration with colleagues.

Unfair pay
Therapist (Current Employee) - Remote - February 29, 2024
Minimal pay for time spent, easy to use and decent amount of referrals. It is nice to be paid weekly however the compensation rate unfortunately is extremely low.
