Adrenalinico ed originale survival movie in cui la classica devastazione mutante viene presentata su una scala ridotta, con un nemico chiaro quasi fin da subito ma un contesto che rimane molto vincolato al piccolo paesino in cui si svolgono le vicende. Molto appassionante la corsa verso la salvezza dei protagonisti, pur con qualche urlo di troppo per le componenti femminili che rendono abbastanza fastidiose alcune sequenze di azione. La vera novità è però data dal triplo nemico (mutazione, mutanti ed esercito) che permette alla sceneggiatura di offrire sempre scontri originali e diversi dai precedenti. Il finale, forse troppo esagerato, è una delle pecche principali. Molto ad impatto invece la sequenza del ritrovamento dell'aereoplano caduto che dà inizio a tutti i problemi.

Buena película, una cinta de "zombies" del montón que no esta nada mal. Es un género de película que me gustan mucho, por lo que se me hizo una película bastante entretenida a pesar de tener un ritmo algo lento en algunos momentos. Sin embargo, me parece que es una cinta mas del montón en su genero, con sus típicos clichés donde los protagonistas se separan sin sentido alguno, alguno que otro sale herido en el camino, otro muere y así hasta que todo se termine o lleguen a un lugar seguro. A pesar de esto creo que tiene algunas cosas muy buenas como momentos de tensión bien construidos o un buen uso de la acción y los efectos. También me gusto la trama del virus que infecto a la gente y como esta detrás el gobierno, es algo que diferencia un poco a esta cinta de una típica de zombies. Por otro lado, las actuaciones son geniales, principalmente las de Timothy Olyphant, Radha Mitchell, Danielle Panabaker y Joe Anderson. En conclusión, una buena película de suspenso y acción que no tiene cosas muy destacables ni que la diferencien de otras cintas de su genero, pero que es bastante entretenida y fácil de ver si te gustan este tipo de películas. La recomiendo.
