Where to stay in Orvieto
Orvieto hotels & accommodations
perfect stay if you want to enjoy orvieto for few days in a relaxed way. they have private parking, which in orvieto is a big plus. staff is extremely helpful and give great advice about local restaurants.
Just happens to see this hotel on he booking service and took a chance Turned out to be a great little find for us for 2 nights Very friendly staff, restaurant was great service, great food value, would definitely include this on a trip again when staying in the Orvieto area
Easy access to the hotel from the train station. We arrived from Rome, took the cable car and walked in. Friendly reception welcome, beautiful clean room. Quite location (not disturbed by the bells), even though a bit away from the center with main attractions, though it makes no difference as Orvieto is very small. Good breakfast, again with friendly service.
The Hotel is NOT in the old town of Orvieto,is at the foot of the town very close to the train/bus station, and to the funicular [takes you "uptown" to old Orvieto.]The staff spoke good English and were very helpfull.Had a small fridge in my room...great!Old Orvieto is overrun with tourists, hence the peace of this hotel, but it was so easy to go uptown.I absolutely recom...
We just returned from a 16 day trip to Italy, and I have to say, Locanda Rosati was definitely one of the highlights! What a lovely place.... beautiful grounds in a tranquil setting, spacious and clean rooms. Close proximity to the charming hilltop town of Orvieto. The evening meal at the communal table was the best food we had during our entire trip. Giampiero is the...
Hotel is literally steps from the Cathedral in Orvieto. Small but very good rooms and very helpful staff that for the most part speak English well. Would stay there again.
This is a great location, with a short drive into the town of Orvieto. Found the room to be spacious & clean including the bathroom, the view from the room was great. Beds not great a bit hard. But liked the fact we had a mini fridge, helped our selves to water and juice and was not charged extra, nice touch. The breakfast was average. Never had a chance to use the...
This is avery comfortable hotel just outside the walled city of Orvieto. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and warm. Breakfast was very good
Very noisy road Breakfast terrible
We stayed for 2 nights here. It was the best part of Orvieto. 2 large bedrooms, with 2 bathrooms, 3 t.v.s, good wifi. Kitchen well equipped.
The hotel has the most breath-taking views and the building structure is beautiful. It would take little effort and not much $ to make this property one of the finest and most memorable in Umbria. After being wowed by the beautiful landscape as we drove towards the property, we entered the building and the pettiness begins. 1. The living room area is nicely-designe...
We originally booked this hotel as my first choice was fully booked. However when we arrived and having stayed a few days, were very glad. The staff were warm, friendly and welcoming despite our very poor Italian. Our room was cosy and clean with charming view of the street. Absolutely gorgeous little place with simple but perfect breakfast
Francesca is a total Sweetheart and takes care of everything. I would definitely return, thoroughly enjoyed it!!
Beautiful view from a room and great host
We had a great experience at Hotel Posta, in Orvieto. Centrally located and a very good value, we would highly recommend this hotel. We found it very easy to make a stop back at the hotel in between our activities. Breakfast is extra, but worth it. We were traveling with older children and they loved the hotel. Alessia & staff were very helpful. One tip--street-side r...
Absolutely perfect place To stay! Will definitely return!
Great place to stay. Amazing view from our room. Central to everything. Good breakfast. Shower leaked on the floor a bit (not too bad), parking near accommodation in Orvieto is a problem, ticket machine only takes coins €26 for 1.5 days. We had to go from shop to shop asking for change. Painful, a problem for all accommodation in Orvieto but worth the effort an amazin...
Could not have had a better stay! Maria Silvana was the loveliest lady who was kind and helpful and staying at her residence was fantastic as we overlooked the piazza where all the festivities were occurring for the weekend of Pentecost. (prime view!) Orvieto is a delight to explore and La Soffitta comes highly recommended .
when we reached hotel, the owner said that the room was not available as they gave the room to another couple . The owner said that as our payment method was "pay at hotel" , he gave the room to someone else who arrived earlier. This was not excusable because we arrived at about 1+ pm , and nowhere this is mentioned as an issue in hotel rules. they arranged our stay in...
Angela was a warm and generous host. A great place to start or end your Italian roadtrip.
The home is just lovely, interesting and full of charm. The breakfast was far beyond our expectations. We totally enjoyed staying here and hopefully will get the opportunity to return to beautiful Orvieto with all its charm. Being in this B&B just added to the whole experience. Having coffee and tea facilities available was very appreciated. The outlook from the lo...
Great!
Apartmento Mia We had the pleasure of staying in Orvieto for 3 days. Besides the perfect weather and a beautiful small Italian town, Apartment Mia was a good choice. The apartment is located towards the old part of the city, and only a short walk to the Duomo. The apartment has been recently renovated so all areas of the apartment were new. Our landlord provided lo...
We stayed for 2 nights (2 adults and 2 kids). We arranged check in via text and this went smoothly. Taking the funicular from the train station and then bus to the duomo was a breeze (1.30 euro), but finding the apartment requires a map - which you can pick up at the top of the funicular or the tourist office at the duomo. From the duomo it takes about 4 minutes to ...
Everything about my stay here was nothing short of magical. My hosts, Alessandra e Alessandro were charming, warm, thoughtful and so helpful. The breakfast was amazing, the room was terrific and the VIEW was incomparable. It's just outside of the Orvieto city gates, but the walk in is not long, and while uphill, it is very pleasant!
