The original premise was a documentary featuring "definitive proof of ghosts". I dont think the footage was by any means definitive proof of anything, but it turns out in this second part of the documentary, the footage was of an alien, not a ghost. The filmmakers made a bold claim to definitive proof of something (ghosts) that wasnt actually what they said it was proof of (soooo....not ghosts). Yeah, thats the overall logic here. There is another moment that the filmmaker explains how any paranormal team would have jumped at the opportunity, without any payment, to have investigated the original site the no face footage was captured at. However, that the Australian government offered this team payment to go and investigate this island shows how important the whole investigation was. What? If investigators were refusing to go and then the government offered money to help convince a team to go would better illustrate the importance. Again, the filmmaker was assigning great significance to something not so significant. Lots of moments like this throughout. For me, is also very annoying when the camera is steady and no edits when the director is talking to the camera, but when they show footage related to the topic, we now have jump cuts and quick zoom ins and various effects done in editing room. It is a horrible trend that defeats the purpose of having evidential footage...or its an attempt to hide that its not evidence of anything. Some interesting moments but i think these guys are chasing a paycheck. This is even more evident in the third part to this documentary which has even less content within its boring run time of questionable personal drama. Ugh
