The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die sees many fan favorite cast members return for the Netflix movie as Uhtred Bebbanburg (Alexander Dreymon) is caught up in another war thanks to new characters attempting to take the crown. Based on The Saxon Stories by Bernard Cornwell, The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die will serve as an epilogue to the hit Netflix series, which followed the life of Uhtred Bebbanburg as he tried to help Alfred the Great (David Dawson) unify the Saxon Kingdoms while also fighting for his birthright. Uhtred also found himself in a moral quandary as his loyalties to both the Saxons and Danes were tested regularly.

Available To Stream On Netflix

Given that The Last Kingdom timeline covered a 45-year period, it didn't come as a surprise to see many cast members exit the series since several of them did have to leave for the sake of the story or be recast to portray older versions. However, while it was sad to see some of them go, it was also great to see new cast members and characters added as it always kept the story fresh and exciting. It seems that the producers also stuck to this idea for Seven Kings Must Die as several new and talented actors joined the cast and were given a chance to show their skills.

In 2011, he had a minor role in the autobiographical film, Christopher and his Kind, as Caspar, which he starred alongside Matt Smith. He also had a brief stint in Ryan Murphy's American Horror Story: Coven, playing Luke Ramsey, who became Nan's love interest.

Mark Rowley as Finan

It wouldn't feel right if the Seven Kings Must Die omitted Uhtred's charismatic best friend, Finan - particularly since he has always been by Dane Slayer's side and is one of the few characters left who provides plenty of laughs with his witty comments. He is played by Mark Rowley, who has appeared as Piers in TV horror Young Dracula, Alexander Stewart in the historical drama series, The Spanish Princess, the titular character in 2018 Macbeth. Rowley has also lent his voice to several video games, including Battlefield V, Star Wars: Battlefront II, and Assassin's Creed: Syndicate.

He is played by Arnas Fedaravičius, who, before joining The Last Kingdom cast, was known for playing Uzupis Guy in 2015's Chasing Solace and Andrus in the Swedish TV series, Thicker Than Water.
