I don't know what I really expected...certainly something else and the truth and ultimately very sad. The meerkats are presented to the customer in small rooms with glass walls. These poor little creatures, far from their natural environment, fall asleep on your knees but the worst are the foxes locked in a kind of cage with glass walls with their excrement on the floor. just as far from their natural living space, in fact this place is imbued with incredible sadness...

Very cute and fun thing to do. We loved interacting with meerkats, foxes, raccoon, dogs and cats. Don’t expect food at this place but expect to get up close and personal with cute animals. The staff were kind and caring of the animals. Clearly this isn’t a natural environment for the animals (neither are zoos) but the animals seemed very well cared for and loved.
Hot tip - don’t wear lace or clothes that could be easily torn by sharp claws. One meerkat took a peculiar interest in the tag inside my shirt which I tucked into my jeans and under the sheet cover provided by the staff. The meerkat still managed to get to the tag 😀

This was amazing! I was worried at first that it would be sad but all the animals here seem well taken care of and happy. The staff was super friendly and even told us on our way out that we should stick around a little longer because the foxes were about to come out! And it was ADORABLE!!! I don’t think I’ve ever witnessed anything as cute as a fluffy fox doin a lil head nod in my lap. The staff also seemed to care about the animals and didnt bend on the rules which is a great thing in my book. The meerkats are also super cute too bc they’ll try and dig into your pockets and make little laser sounds. 10/10

The two of us middle-agers seemed out of place from the get-go. What was I doing in here with a bunch of Instagram snap-happy kids?? And is that a racoon?? I hate those back home!
But the meerkats were adorable. They are curious and love to have their backs and stomachs rubbed. They were so cute. Really.
There were 3 others in the little meerkat area with me but they probably wouldn't give as high a rating. Why not? The meerkats seemed to gravitate to me. Honestly, I think it was because I spilled a bit of some food on my leg and they smelled that. I didn't care--I'll take it.
All in all it was way more way than I expected it to be.
(Later in the trip, we went to an owl cafe. That was really boring in comparison to this.)

We were the first ones to arrive and we were guided by a man that explained what we have to do and what are the rules. On the first floor we interacted with the dogs, the raccoon and later with the foxes. The place was clean and the girl that works there helped us get closer to the raccoon. After 15 minutes we were informed that we could go upstairs and after they checked that we dont have anything with us to hurt the meerkats (bracelets, watches etc) we went in their area to observe them closer. The meerkats were lovely and curious, they jumped on us while they were waiting for their food. After another 15 minutes we had a chance to play with the snow bengal cats and the wallabies. Also the surprise was the kinkajou, we did not expect that and the girls were very nice and let me and my partner to carry him on our shoulder. Indeed there was quite a strong smell upstairs but I would say it’s understandable, it did not ruin the experience. For sure its worth it for the price we paid, comparing to similar experiences in UK for example. Also the animals seemed happy and confident and the staff seemed like they care about the animals as well.

Too much rule in this place. U must take off jacket, bag, even earring, necklace. U must empty your pocket. U cant touch animal except puppies and cat. The staff also prohibit u to make sound. What u can do here is only look at those animal walking/running. The room so smelly but it is
still understable. Never ever again come here just waste time, money, and energy.

We had a great time at the Meerkat Cafe. The animals were well taken care of. The staff were very friendly and give clear instructions on how to interact with different animals.

It is possible to interact with many different animals that live together in the same place. For every animal there are rules to respect so as not to harm them

This place left me mainly sad. The wild animals are kept in small spaces and they are visibly anxious and stressed. It’s one thing to have a cat cafe but there are wild animals at this place that don’t have the right conditions. The meerkats are constantly going for the door and trying to get out. They dont enjoy people coming in the room. There was a wallaby that looked sick, breathing heavy in the corner and looking anxious. Please don’t visit, go to a dog or cat cafe instead!

after visiting a lot of other animal cafes in japan and seoul; this one has a lot to improve on.
we wanted to see meerkats but when we came at closing (don't go after 6pm) we were told we only had 30 minutes left to see the animals AFTER paying the fee.
the staff themselves were great by the way but we weren't sure what was going on when we walked into the main floor. there wasn't a lot of instruction given to us other than please read the signs. granted, my korean is limited so i understand this is on us as foreigners but it was still disorganized.
when we were let in, we sat around for 15 minutes but the staff finally let out foxes to play. after 15 minutes, we were told we only had 20 minutes left to see the meerkat upstairs. i will chalk this up to us coming later but it might have been better to tell us to come another day.
as for the animals themselves, we saw racoons, meerkats, 2 baby joeys, bengal cats, and foxes. there was a slight odor thruout both rooms that we couldn't just look past. im sure the staff are doing their best but this cafe could use some improvement. most of the time, you just sat and waited for the animals to come around you. a lot of the times the animals were just disinterested which i understand, i'd be tired of people too lol. for the meerkats, we sat down in the room to play with them and that was prob the highlight of the cafe visit for those 10 minutes.
maybe on the next visit we'll give them another try.
