What travelers are saying
- qkmmadrid3 contributionsIt is an interesting place and the tour guide it worth it! the retail, his knowledge about the history and his jokes make the tour like a comedy.
The visit it is for free but tips are welcomeWritten November 26, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Other people waiting at the taxi rank but no sign of taxis so we walked using a map I had printed off Google, took less than half an hour and there are cafes half way which we used on the way back. Modern museum on a couple of floors covering the whole history of the Armada. Surprising amount covering their unsuccessful battles with our British fleets. We went on Saturday morning, there was no mention of a guided tour but we were OK without one. 3 Euro voluntary contribution on leaving. Only disappointment was no shop, we had hoped to buy a souvenir for our Sea Cadet granddaughter.Written April 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bruce RCádiz63 contributionsTHe island allows beautiful views of the nearby coast. The boat was very small (9 passengers on ours) and I was glad it only took 10 minutes as the sea was quite choppy. If I went again I`d look for a bigger boat (not sure if bigger boat which tours from Sancti Petri goes to the island). I was surprised thjat we were not given lifejackets. The guided tour was interesting but the guide spoke very quickly, determined to give a lot of information in a short time.Written July 26, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
