My time at Riverdale High School was incredibly rewarding. I cherish it and wish I could relive it. The teachers there aren't just educators; they're lifelong mentors who genuinely care about their students' success.
Riverdale was the greatest experience of my life. I used to be quiet and shy. Teachers, faculty and coaches help me break out of that shell. I now step up and speak out way more. I participated in multiple sports at this school. Some sports were my first time. I learned now only the sport but how to be a team player and a leader. The coaches were always there for me on and off the field. The teachers were always available to me whenever I needed help with school work or advice.
As a student at Riverdale High School, I could not recommend anywhere better for an incoming high schooler. Riverdale is a place where I feel at home, the teachers, the administrators, and the community are all so helpful and kind. At Riverdale, I feel extremely ready for the extensive pathway that I will be greeted with at college.
My experience at Riverdale in the past 1 and half years has been amazing. All the teachers are very welcoming, supportive, and helpful. The school is always pretty clean and everyone feels like family there. With all the fun activities to do. The only bad thing would be bathrooms, like many public high schools, it’s not so clean and some of the toilets/sinks do not work. But overall I think it’s a great school with a wonderful high school dream experience.
Riverdale High School has a great IB program with a lot of support from teachers and students that are also in Ib but the program still has flaws. It has little diversity in the subjects offered and offers little information to students in IAs and exams. That being said, the general population who are nonIB are disruptive, racist, and care little about education, having to be pushed along to the finish line of graduation.
Riverdale High School: a mixed bag with a comforting small-town community vibe, though it comes with the downside of everyone knowing too much about each other. Despite having almost 3,000 students, anonymity is difficult to find.
The bathrooms are a nightmare—graffiti, no toilet paper, and overcrowded. College resources are lacking, leaving students to navigate post-high school plans solo. Counselors are hard to access and not overly helpful, creating a sense of being pushed away.
Teachers vary from supportive to challenging. The town's community spirit is a highlight, fostering a supportive environment.
A magic wand would fix the bathroom woes and upgrade college resources for smoother guidance. Riverdale High has potential with some necessary changes.

As a Riverdale High senior, I can proudly say the community for the years I've been here has been incredibly supportive and it has been such an amazing experience. The school spirit is strong, with the guidance being even stronger. The programs this school has successfully prepared me for college and life after. I made so many connections and friendships that I will keep with me for many years after graduation.
“Have a great Raider day” the line I heard every morning, I heard that line so much I couldn’t possibly forget it. Welcome to Riverdale High School where you will probably have a fun experience if you take part in activities. Although hard I do recommend IB (International Baccalaureate) it made me loss sleep, cry, want to die, but at the end of my time I can’t wait to feel alive. Why am I recommending it? Because I met my people there people I wouldn’t have met in regular classes. These people understand the struggle of actually not sleeping just to reach the deadline but overall we still make light of our situation. So if you do think of joining Riverdale I hope you have a great Raider day.
Well to begin with Riverdale highschool had its ups and downs. With many good memories being made their and bad memories as well. But in overall aspect the school and the teachers that work their are overall a great working team .If it weren’t for one of the most best counselor I wouldn’t have not graduated and probably be in a charter school trying to graduate. And the times were I was given help I would take the chance that each teacher and person gave me and know I can look back and thank them for how far I’ve made it.And some bad memories I had was that sometimes they were strict and stopped us for no reason .We would be called down and stuff and sometimes the teachers would not respond back to me when I needed help. But that was just one teacher ;But overall in my opinion this was school was great , all the laughs and fun moments we had in the school makes it how it is now a great and safe environment. So yeah I couldn’t wish for a better highschool.
Riverdale has overall has been a great space for acceptance. I met so much people and gained great friendships, the staff accepts my queerness with open arms and I have been grateful for the last three years.
Riverdale High School is a public high school located in Buckingham, Florida; it offers various activities and classes where students can explore their interests and build their character until they head to college. My experience in Riverdale was well-rounded as I've experienced through the IB Curriculum, Gen Ed, and Dual Enrollment. Many challenges came through the years, both personal and community, however the school was able to come through and help the students step through. Although there were some district changes that have made the teacher and students' schedule harder to manage, such as creating the A B schedule into a full day schedule, but I moved to Dual Enrollment by the time it changed. IB was a manageable program until Senior year where they pushed all the important information to the last year while changing the schedule, Gen Ed was very forgiving and engaging for the students, and Dual Enrollment was the perfect amount of engagement and challenging, in my opinion.
Riverdale is a great school that has teachers that truly care about the students. It has contributed largely to making me a successful student. The environment is great and it allows for students to thrive.
Riverdale High has built me to be the person I am today ! I would suggest a change in more administration caring about the kids & not being dismissive.
I love the IB program that Riverdale High School provides. The stuff and students inspire each other. School’s arts are advanced and include every sphere you can only imagine.
Well, I’m going to be a senior. Class of 2023! The teachers are kind an awesome. They are always there to help an try to help you understand whenever you are lost. The school has a lot of electives to chose. I’ve been there for a year but, it don’t matter because I got there an the teachers made me feel like I was at home an comfortable there. Also, I love how they have marine science it’s something new I’ve seen! One of my favorite classes. Riverdale high fever s the best school.
Riverdale Highschool has a wide selection of clubs and sports. Even though RHS does not have a bunch of clubs that are targeted towards your future career, they do have clubs that are super fun and help you meet tons of people. I will be a two year member of the Best buddies club this fall, I love how much our school cares about speading inclusion. We have students from all over the school in different grades, clubs, sports, and many others helping spread inclusion. After hearing other students experiences in their highschool I am proud to be a Raider. Even though RHS sounds perfect, like all things, it has some flaws. The food isn't the most flavorable but it is free and helps me get through my day. The teachers for the most part are really good. During my first three years, most of my teachers pushed me to be the best I could be.My past teachers also are one of the reasons that I want to become a teacher. I want to make an impact on my students lives like so many of my teachers have.
Riverdale High School's is the most extraordinary high school in lee county ! they make sure success is built in you because as our motto " success is a choice' even if you think you can't go beyond great limits the staff is always determined to make sure students graduate and even help you get to a college on scholarship so you can be your best self ! they help you go beyond limits you've never thought you had in you. they have gave me the confidence and support i've always needed I went to thinking ill never pass the SAT to them helping me study everyday and within 2 months me jumping to a score of 890 to 1100+.
