Kate describes this track as:

a cool song because it’s got so much energy, and the chorus lifts so much, and it’s a fun, kind of dancey song, but this song kind of has a paradox to it because its about being so crazy about somebody that it kind of inhibits your ability to do anything else. And you’re so infatuated with this person that they really, literally have your heart chained up. You’re a prisoner to your love for this person, so you go nuts when they’re not around and you don’t know what to do with yourself. So there’s a little bit of a darkness to this song, but what I love about it is that the chorus brings you up into this rush and is supposed to sort of represent when you’re so crazy about somebody that there’s nothing you can do about it, you ‘don’t want it any other way. ’You want to feel that ridiculously chained up to your feelings.

Interesting fact: this song was also co-written by Canadian musician spouses Chantal Kreviazuk and Raine Maida (the latter of Our Lady Peace).
