help request- trying to figure out what dance fits the Waterboys' cover of "Sweet Thing" (103bpm)

I thiiiink the song is in 6/8; it has a big drum beat on the 5th beat which initially confused me and made me think it was in 4/4. Would viennese waltz be the only option for this song or is there another dance that would fit? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Be3OkvBZaIY

Not all songs nicely fit into the 10 ballroom dancers (or 9+ American ballroom) and I think this is one of those.

You could probably "make something work" for Viennese as you offered but it doesn't feel very good for that in my opinion.

I would count it as a VWaltz. I think you're right in that it's a 6/8 beat structure, but I also think this just a really fast song to dance to natively.

I'm not at all certain on this, but would it work as a really slow bachata? I also couldn't hear the V. Waltz, which confused me for a bit
