A wonderful Cathedral set inside the centre of Majorca, lots of history and lots of shops surrounding it.
Great to walk around or visit, an iconic landmark

100% have to visit old town, stunning architecture, lovely places to eat and quaint streets to roam. Very easy to get to from alcudia beach (near the port) 10 min bus journey.

I recommend booking online as the slots book up quickly. We got there 15 mins early. They let a lot of people in at a time but there’s plenty room. My son hadn’t been in caves before and was awestruck. The path is concrete and solid so no problem if you have sandals on. Lots of stairs though and quite a long walk through it.
I was disappointed there wasn’t more information about how old the caves were and the quality of the water in the caves and where the water comes from etc. my son had lots of questions I couldn’t answer.
You eventually end up at a lake where you sit in a grandstand, they put out all the lights and some boats come in playing classical music. This was surreal and would have been amazing if it wasn’t ruined by the stewards running round shouting ‘no phones, no phones’ and the toddler who screamed through most of it!!!
After the show you could opt for a very short boat ride which the queue was massive for or the short walk across the bridge.
It took us about 90 min from queuing to coming out and was finished off with an ice cream from the kiosk. Great afternoon out.

It's definitely worth a visit, went as a couple with a 2 month old baby, it's very crowded in places and you might have to wait a little to see what you want, you have a photo taken at the entrance, I guess you do feel pressure to purchase, you're told they're optional to purchase but they do give you a lot of bother until you say yes, not a problem for us since we wanted the photo anyway. Not a chance can you spend a full 8 hours here though, we ended up taking a walk down to the beach and getting some food and drink.

Playa de Muro is not the best beach in Mallorca - it’s the best beach in Spain! Crystal clear and clean waters / fresh breeze to calm the summer heat / especially safe for kids / not over crowded / backs onto Playa de Alcudio which is also excellent. Great facilities along the beach.

Castle is awesome and the views from it on whole Pallma is worth to visit!
It’s option to reach the Castle by car, but if it’s possible I recommend a walk - it’s good pathway system :)

This is a must see, must do. Everything else in Palma pales in comparison. We arrived on a cruise ship.

A city is a city but this UNESCO countryside is spectacular! But how to see it?

I did so much research on renting vehicles like three wheel cars and the like: most not easily accessible from port.: or taking the train to Sóller ( missed reviews) but decided to rent a car from the airport.

Au contraire! Took a taxi to the airport to rent…(I had gotten my international driving license and bought a map from Amazon, and studied the route…)
BUT: no one said I needed my passport!

Tears! Taxied back to the cruise port but then… I counted the cost of two more $25 taxi rides back and forth and instead… decided to hire a driver: they hang around with signs as you exit the dock.

This guy was SO nice trying to help me get back in the right door back to the ship to retrieve my passport. Nit I turned around and approached him.

And… we hired him. $250 for 3 hours/ we were out 4 1/2 hours and became fast if brief friends. Anass is from Niger, told us his immigrant story, and showed us the most out of the way and beautiful places!
I’ll include his contact in pictures… we went everywhere I planned to go: Soller, beautiful Port of Soller, winding our way to Valldemossa, rated number one place to see ( although full of busses! The Port was better!)

This was SO easy , safe and fun. I couldn’t have navigated all the roads and enjoyed it if I had rented a car.

Amazing views, the road is good but please be careful of cyclists and buses. It is worth the hassle . Views are spectacular. There is a small cafe and view point at the start with friendly goats if You are lucky

This beach is stunning as the pictures show. We had some trouble finding the gay area. If you are using the parking lot you are going to want to walk to the right. My best advice is to enter as close to Es Trenc Restaurant as you can. You will walk past the restaurant, past the drink and snack stand and about 5 min after that you will start to see more and more gays gathered. It took us so long to find, I hope that helps! The water is clear and if you find yourself in an area with a ton of spikey seaweed keep walking! It clears up.

Very reminiscent of las ramblas in barcelona.
Plenty of cafe's and seats to rest your tired legs after all that sightseeing.
A very nice place to people watch.
