Kim Jong Min To Reveal His Inner Feelings For The First Time In 9 Years In Upcoming "2 Days & 1 Night" Episode

On December 4, “2 Days & 1 Night” began its “Kim Jong Min” special. The veteran singer and entertainer has been on the show for 9 years.

In the episode, “2 Days & 1 Night” tries its own version of the “Running Man” race, which Kim Jong Min has never been able to appear on. They also set up a blind date between Kim Jong Min and the interpreter Kim So Yeon.

On December 5, producing director (PD) Yoo Il Yong said to TVReport, “We looked around for someone who fit Kim Jong Min’s ideal type. Kim So Yeon is intelligent and speaks English well, and we thought Kim Jong Min would like her. Kim So Yeon didn’t know who she was going on a blind date with, but among the three bachelors on the show, she said that she wanted to go with Kim Jong Min, so I think it worked out well.”

However, it was an “avatar blind date,” which meant that the other members got to control his actions. Despite making him do and say some hilarious things, Kim So Yeon eventually realized what was going on.

The results of the blind date will be released next episode, as well as some presents that the members have prepared for him. In the preview, the members can be seen tearing up.

“It’s something we wanted to do from the moment we conceived of this special,” Yoo Il Yong said. “We wanted to know what Kim Jong Min’s innermost thoughts have been for the past 9 years. He’s very cheerful and doesn’t talk about his inner feelings very often. When he revealed them, all the members and the production staff cried. Even I couldn’t hold back by tears. We all like him, so our feelings were involved, too.”
