Review of Student Expectations: Dismissal Procedures
We expect all students to attend all their assigned classes. If a student needs to leave early, their parent/guardian should contact the office. Any student who leaves the building before the end of their scheduled day without permission cannot board a school bus and is subject to disciplinary action up to and including suspension from school.
If a student has a reduced schedule, and they choose to leave the building after their last scheduled class before dismissal, they need to leave the school grounds and cannot use or linger in the parking lot, basketball, tennis courts or track and field. Any student who has a reduced class schedule but wishes to take a school bus at the end of the day should not leave the building and should wait in the atrium.
As we strive to make these last days of school positive, productive and safe, we ask that all parents/guardians speak with their children and go over these expectations to ensure the best experience for all.
