Application for Admission
It's great that you have decided to study at RWTH Aachen. Nothing stands between you and your application if you fulfill the admission requirements!
Enrollment or Application?
First of all, be aware of the difference between application and enrollment.
For all study programs, you must submit an application within the application deadlines via RWTHonline. The application is followed by the admission and the next step is the enrollment by you. The enrollment means that you will receive a study place at RWTH Aachen, and only then do you become a member of the University.
Who has to apply?
Please refer to our current RWTH-Info or our courses of study to find out which courses of study have open admission or restricted admission.
If your prospective Bachelor's course of study or subject does not have restricted admission, you are guaranteed a university placement! Regardless of an admission restriction, you must always go through our application wizard.
Admission to a restricted or open admission Master's course of study requires online application. The signed application form and all required documents must have been received by RWTH by the application deadline.
Please note that the application deadlines are final deadlines. This means that your application will not be considered after the deadline has passed.
International Prospective Students
Applicants from countries outside of the EU and EEA must apply for university placement before the respective deadline.

Dialogue-Oriented Service Process (DoSV)
RWTH Aachen will be participating with all simply Bachelor courses of study with restricted admission in the "Dialogue-Oriented Service Process" or DoSV of the Stiftung für Hochschulzulassung in the 2020/21 winter semester:
